Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Production Scheduler for our facility located in Blytheville, Arkansas. Reporting to the Director of Planning, the Production Scheduler will be responsible for production-planning supervision, scheduling for production and preparing production schedules for manufacturing of products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and schedule tube mill operations to meet production targets and customer demand.
Develop and maintain weekly rolling and production schedules.
Review raw material requirements against inventory and open purchase orders; expedite materials as needed to meet slitting and rolling schedules.
Prepare and schedule slit process orders for internal slitters and issue POs for subcontracted slitting operations.
Communicate daily with material suppliers and subcontract vendors regarding schedules, deliveries, and issues.
Analyze current and future customer orders versus mill capacity and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Serve as a materials liaison to the sales team by providing lead-time and material availability information.
Monitor and control inventory levels to support production efficiency.
Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation in accordance with established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Track project status, expedite delayed operations, and adjust schedules to address unforeseen conditions.
Monitor, analyze, and report production performance using material and production control systems.
Prepare production and scheduling reports.
Coordinate the delivery and movement of critical materials, including transfers and conditional releases.
Resolve discrepancy reports, vendor service requests, and material issues; initiate replacement orders when required.
Ensure production status, work planning, and execution objectives are clearly communicated and aligned across all stakeholders.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong team player with the ability to coordinate efforts across internal departments and external partners.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Thorough working knowledge of SAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.
Requirements (to be considered you must have the following):
Computer with an internet connection
Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas)

Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
