POSITION SUMMARY
The Child Protective Worker provides response for KCDCFS's Child Protective Service unit. Worker completes Access Reports for allegations of Abuse and Neglect and determines if any Present or Impending Dangers are identified. Worker responds to calls that come in alleging present danger threats and/or impending danger threats by conducting minimal facts interview to determine if child/ren are unsafe and takes the appropriate action.
RESPONSIBILITIES

b. Gathers required information for Access Reports and documents appropriately in WISACWIS.
c. Assesses child safety including the adult's protective capacities and the physical condition of the home
d. If children are unsafe, develop a safety plan to ensure child safety, including but limited to initiating Protective Plans, supervising children in need of a placement, placing children into foster care when necessary for safety
e. Makes referrals to community-based service agencies
f. Completes Confirmation of Safe Environments per the Protocol
g. Maintains accurate, meaningful, and current case records, reports, and other documents and correspondence, including all required documentation in the Wisconsin State Automated Child Welfare Information System
h. Documents client background information, assesses report for present and impending danger threats, and makes screening recommendations
i. Works as a part of a team
j. Attends in-service training and staff development activities
4. Requesting Temporary Physical Custody of children
a. Follow guidelines established in Chapter 48 and procedure established by Juvenile Intake Services
b. Provide documentation immediately
c. Provide intake services to child, family, and placement providers
5. Meet with Victims of a Crime Act (VOCA) consumers
a. Provide follow up as appropriate
b. Document all contact
6. Provides immediate case documentation in eWiSACWIS
7. Respects client confidentiality and follows Code of Ethics established by the National Association of Social Workers
8. Follows schedule of hours established by coordinator
9. Other tasks assigned by supervisor

b. Present alternatives when suitable i.e., safety planning
c. Assess and assist in determining suitable placement for voluntary detox of substance addicted persons
4. Assess/refer/admit to KARE Center for crisis stabilization and/or to defer emergency hospital admissions
a. May provide facilitating services (such as transportation) as needed
5. Respond to crime scenes as requested by Law Enforcement
a. Assist police as requested and instructed
b. Assist in defusing victims and witnesses
c. Provide referrals/immediately needed services
d. Create short term safety plans for victims and witnesses involved, facilitate as needed
6. Perform individual employee requirements for continuing education and clinical supervision as required for agency
a. Maintain accurate record of task completion
7. Perform other work as required by the Emergency Mental Health Services Supervisor

CLINICIAN Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility - WCS Jefferson County Responsible for providing individual therapy and supervising milieu group therapy to the youth residing at Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility utilizing the Integrated Treatment Model including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Provide service coordination in collaboration with the Youth Treatment Specialist team.
The Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility is licensed under the Department of Health Services Chapters 50 and 34 to provide a short-term stabilization service for up to 8 youth (ages 10-17).
Essential Functions:
1. Interview, assess, screen, and approve admissions of youth for services at YCSF.
2. Assist with admissions process on site, assisting families with paperwork completion and orientation of youth to the program.
3. Supervise the youth coordinator, providing weekly individual supervision, review and sign off on youth care plans and service recommendations/resources.
4. Facilitate treatment and value-added groups for the youth including but not limited to DBT skills, sex education, healthy relationships, cultural awareness, substance use, independent living and life skills for 8 youth across the gender spectrum, ages 10-17 years old.
5. Provide daily (more frequently as needed) 1:1 individual therapy session following treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches in the spirit of DBT.
6. Complete assessments to develop youth care plans including stabilization and safety plans.
7. Provide DBT training and coaching to the direct care staff by engaging in activities/programming to role model and teach DBT skills to both youth and staff.
8. Provide weekly clinical supervision to Youth Treatment Specialists in the YCSF program per DHS 34 requirements.
9. Engage in monthly peer review with clinical supervisor per DHS 50.
10. Participate as a member of the medical peer review committee per DHS 50.
11. Participate in consultation teams both as a team member and as a facilitator for program staff to assist in monitoring the fidelity of the milieu group therapy.
12. Participate in weekly consultation, training and supervision on the integrated treatment model.
13. Conduct daily risk assessments to ensure the youth are safe and not a risk to themselves or others.
14. Coordinate with Jefferson County Crisis Services as needed.
15. Work collaboratively with child and family team to implement a comprehensive treatment plan outlining each youth's identified target behaviors.
16. Attend court hearings as needed to provide updates and advocate for youth.
17. Work on-call to ensure clinical needs of youth are being met and provide clinical guidance to staff during crisis after hours.
18. Document all interactions in the electronic medical record SecurManage.
19. Engage with youth's support network and participate in family engagement initiatives.
20. Attend psychiatric medical appointments and assist in medication administration.
21. Keep appropriate documentation for all funding sources.
22. Maintaining resident record files in accordance with YCSF certification, Department and Health Services (DHS) 50 and 34 to ensure all records are updated and complete.
23. Uphold and promote a positive and supportive culture for youth and staff.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Winnebago Supervised Visitation (SV) program provides supervision for children who are in temporary foster care placement and their families. The Winnebago SV Supervisor will direct and monitor all aspects of service provided by the program. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPERVISOR:
Hire, train, supervise, and manage Winnebago SV program staff.

Set and monitor staff caseloads and ensure daily coverage.
Prepare required reports and all other program documentation accurately and on time.
Act as a resource for workers in emergency and crisis situations.
Ensure quality assurance through file reviews.
Perform all duties of a Supervised Visitation Worker
Provide Car Seat Training to staff and safely transport clients as needed.
LOCATION: Oshkosh, WI
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday with several evenings per week; may need to support staff during weekends as needed
SALARY: $58,000-60,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY
KARE Center Staff implement all tasks required for the day-to-day operation of the KARE Center, to be delivered in a respectful and comprehensive manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for creating a positive, supportive mood in the center
a. Participates in the intake process by gathering required data, by orienting residents to the expectations of the center, and informing them of their client rights
b. Routinely provides positive feedback and respect to residents within the center
c. Employs preventive teaching methods to avoid or diminish conflicts in the home
d. Provides supportive listening and encourages residents to follow through on their treatment plans as determined by CIC and CSP staff
2. Admits residents referred to the KARE Center by Adult Crisis
a. Requires a medical screening from a local emergency room prior to admitting residents for crisis stabilization
b. Opens a file on all new admissions and completes all associated paper work
c. Files prescriptions and or medical instructions
d. Documents clinical information in resident's progress notes
e. Stores and monitors self-administration of resident's medication according to state guidelines
f. Records discharge data and circumstances
g. Provides supervision of KARE Center residents
h. Provides hourly (or more frequently) bed checks when specified
i. Monitors each resident's medical and emotional status and arranges emergency care when appropriate
j. Notifies the Program Manager when an emergency warrants
3. Performs other duties as required by the Program Manager
a. Answers house phones and responds appropriately to the needs of the caller
b. Answers Crisis Hotline and dispatches the appropriate mobile counselor
4. Required to participate in scheduled training sessions given by KHDS
a. Gives, receives and acts upon feedback given by director, supervisor, crisis counselors, resident or community
b. Maintains confidentiality at all times
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Are you a full licensed or in-training therapist who enjoys working with adolescents and serving your community? We are now accepting resumes for a part-time School-Based Therapists in our School-Based programs with the possibility to transition into full-time!
Providing mental health services within the school increases access to services for families who may not be able to go to an outpatient clinic on their own. School-Based staff go directly into the school to provide intervention, including: individual and group therapy, education/consultation for school personnel, and family therapy as needed.
PSG/CIP is a multi-service community-based social services organization that fulfills its mission of helping individuals and families to achieve their greatest potential through dynamic, cost effective and innovative programming responsive to the needs of diverse communities.
Ideal candidates will enjoy having summers off or reduced summer hours. Part-time summer hours are available in addition to those associated with the 9-month salary. Candidates should have an interest in providing services to students K-12 in a school setting. Those with experience with working with schools and an understanding of family systems, the effects and treatment of children and teens who have suffered emotional trauma are also preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES OF OUR SCHOOL-BASED THERAPIST:
Assess the therapeutic needs of clients and complete formal assessments.
Create and review client treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy in accordance with the child's treatment plans.
Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
Demonstrate knowledge and skill in addressing family system, mental health, parenting, and alcohol/drug issues through individual, family, or group counseling.
Organize and facilitate structured group, individual and/or family activities.
Provide consultation to the child's school and school personnel as needed.
Coordinate services and maintain communication with all service providers involved with the clients.
POSITION LOCATION AND HOURS: Position is based at assigned school locations and may require travel to multiple schools. Hours vary dependent on the school hours of operation, but typical hours will occur Monday-Friday between 7:30am-5:00pm. This is a part-time position with the possibility to move into full-time 40 hours/week with benefits, operating during the 9-month school year, with the opportunity to continue working part-time through summer months.
