Kentucky students who want to immerse themselves in the Christian faith while pursuing a baccalaureate degree can receive an enriching education at the Kentucky Christian University in Grayson. To foster spiritual development within students, the university requires that all graduates fulfill 30 hours of coursework in Biblical Studies and Theology. This will complement their core liberal arts curriculum to prepare them for their major of choice. The university strives to maintain a close-knit community by performing mandatory chapel services twice a week. Students will with work with each other often, which leads them to develop a sense of camaraderie. When you are not worshipping, you can enjoy the many benefits of KCU's college life, including fun campus events like talent shows, movie screenings, bowling trips and social parties. KCU's academics reflect traditional liberal arts disciplines, as well as specialty majors in: * Advanced Bible Studies * Bible and Ministry (with concentrations in Camp Management, Christian Leadership, Small Group Ministry and more) * Music Business * Worship If you are a singer and want to enhance your college life, you can join KCU's University Concert Choir, an internationally renowned ensemble. KCU supports its students by offering substantial financial aid programs to those demonstrating need. As long as students file a FAFSA, they will be considered for KCU scholarships and Title IV federal aid. Admissions requirements include a high school diploma, two or three letters of recommendation, and an ACT score of at least 17 or SAT score of 1210.
