For a high-quality liberal arts education at one of the nation's finest colleges, the Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, is a great choice. A strong sense of community drives student life at Kenyon. Campus events are always happening, from the Snowden Fried Chicken Cook-Off to a cappella singing performances. Academics include undergraduate degrees in more than 15 departments and 13 interdisciplinary programs. Some majors include African Diaspora Studies, Art History, Dance, Drama and Film, Modern Languages and Literature, Philosophy and more. Admissions require students to submit official high school transcripts and ACT or SAT scores. The school recommends, but not does require, that applicants interview with an admissions representative. Students have three admission options: Early Decision 1, Early Decision 2 or Regular Decision. Early Decision 1 has the earliest deadlines and provides earliest binding acceptance decisions. To apply for financial aid, students must complete a CSS profile and FAFSA. The school awards merit-based scholarships on a competitive basis. Other forms of aid include student loans, work-study programs and other loan options.
