The selected candidate will lead the pathology laboratory, managing all facets of its operations, and will contribute approximately 15 hours per week. This includes planning, organizing, and directing activities of the Laboratory with support from administrative directors, managers, supervisors, and senior technologists. The Director will also serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, collaborating closely with physicians and other health care providers.

Position Overview:
The Department of Educational Leadership invites applicants for a position as a departmental Graduate Assistant. The Department of Educational Leadership faculty prepares candidates to effectively lead in educational organizations in the Central Valley of California and beyond. Our graduates serve in leadership roles in diverse educational settings such as public and private schools, colleges, universities, and other related educational agencies. We offer three graduate programs: the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, the Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Leadership (HEAL), and the P12 Administration Program.
The Graduate Assistant (GA) in Educational Leadership is a paraprofessional staff member in the Kremen School of Education and Human Development. Through service in this role, the GA will develop specific core competencies related to the ACPA/NASPA professional competency areas. The GA will support the Department Chair, Faculty, and Staff in developing programs and processes to promote the work of the Department of Educational Leadership faculty and students, with particular attention to departmental promotion and community engagement. The ideal GA will have had some experience in community outreach in higher education.
The department reserves the right to choose the most qualified candidate for each position and to assign Graduate Assistants to the courses or duties that are appropriate for the department program and curriculum in any given semester. Job Summary:
Club Leaders are responsible for ensuring a fun and positive learning environment for club participants and will support clubs of approximately 20 children. Club leaders have the opportunity to grow, connect, play and have the greatest impact on each of their club participants. All staff can choose between working in school sites, sleepaway camp, or both.

NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS PROGRAM: Work at a city park providing various recreation services and activities for youth and adults, e.g., structured recreation and play time, arts & crafts, sports, fitness, drama, dance, group games, and tutoring. High School diploma or GED equivalent, basic knowledge of recreation activities, and ability to work with a diverse population and age groups is required. Must be available to work evenings and weekends; most employees work 3-7 or 4-8 PM Monday through Friday.
YOUTH SPORTS: Youth Sports include indoor and outdoor soccer, basketball, flag football, flag rugby, and t-ball. Basic knowledge of each sport is recommended but not required. Patient, enthusiastic, interactive, and friendly coaches are needed to teach children ages 3-12 the fundamental skills required to play each sport. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Park attendants are needed for all hours from opening (7 AM) to closing (as late as 10:30 PM in summer) 7 days a week.
CITYWIDE SPECIAL EVENTS: Services Aides in this assignment will perform various duties in support of the successful execution of citywide special events. Responsibilities include set-up and tear-down, parking control, coordinating between event staff and city employees, and providing excellent customer service at all times. Ideal candidates would be courteous, friendly, and professional. Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings and weekends.
SENIOR PROGRAM: Provides hot meals to senior citizens at our neighborhood and community centers, as well as recreational activities including organized games, social dances, arts & crafts, and exercise classes. REHABILITATION THERAPIST, STATE FACILITIES (MUSIC-SAFETY)

Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
This classification is subject to Section 5, Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) Authorization of the California State Civil Service Pay Scales. The authorized HAM rate for this classification is $5028.
Music
Uses music media and activities to provide a nonthreatening, self-motivating experience to assist an individual in relating to the immediate environment, the self, and the community; and provides an atmosphere compatible to behavioral change, self-expression, and nonverbal and verbal communications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an approved clinical internship in the appropriate rehabilitation specialty in an approved hospital or rehabilitation center affiliated with the college.
(Individuals who are registered or certified with the appropriate therapy association but who have not completed a clinical internship because it was not a component of the academic program at the time are required to have completed a minimum of two years' full-time paid experience in a clinical, residential, or community-based setting after receipt of the required degree to be admitted into the exam.)
Equivalent to graduation from a recognized college with major work in music therapy, or registration with the American Music Therapy Association, or eligibility for such registration.
