About the role Under direction of the Supply Chain Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor coordinates activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock records in warehouse. This is a full time, on site position located at our Byesville, Ohio facility. Key responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to - Manage outbound shipment scheduling to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers. - Plan work schedules of warehouse staff. - Oversee all in-bound and outbound freight is properly documented and conforms to company standards. - Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures. Ensure that all policies are being adhered to. - Manage all warehouse employees to ensure GMP, safety, food safety and other company guidelines are followed. - Oversee inventory of all raw ingredients, packaging, and finished goods. - Lead and direct team members to ensure efficient flow of warehouse. - Close collaboration with plant Controller and financial department to identify and analyze inventory discrepancies. - Support the SAP system and implementation and ongoing activities related to RF scanning. - Seek involvement in continuous improvement activities and processes to support organizational progress on safety, quality, customer service and cost goals. - Ensure the warehouse complies with the Kerry HACCP program. - Attend and participate or conduct appropriate safety meetings, report any safety incidents/accidents by self or others, and understand, enforce and follow all company and plant safety policies and procedures. - Must be able to operate a Forklift and perform the duties of their reports to help support as needed. - Maintain open communication and discuss any concerns or feedback with Mattingly Cold Storage and 45 Degrees Logistics (Plant's main 3PL). - Maintain open communication with Forklift, Warehousing, Dock and Door vendors to maintain equipment. - Work closely with Customer Care in regards to customer products and servicing the customer. - Work closely with the MCO and Materials Manager on inventory needed for Production. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and skills Key competencies - Demonstrated ability to lead change. Proven experience in various management/leadership positions. Demonstrated ability to be a champion for change. Education/Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience. Candidates should have previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment. Experience - A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing warehouse preferred The pay range for this position is $64,479 - $105,272 in Annual Salary. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation. What You'll Do The Warehouse - Forklift Operator - is responsible for safe transport of finished products from racking onto trucks and putting away products in racks or tier stack them on the production floor.
