Pros of working at KESQ

Nothing really. Working there made me realize why network TV is dead, and local news is struggling to keep an audience.

Cons of working at KESQ

A lot of favoritism. Virtually no training, no support and teamwork is not existant.

What do you like best about KESQ's CEO and the leadership team?

Didn't know who it was and didn't impact me.

How would you improve KESQ's culture?

Stop doing news the way it has been done since the 1950s. You have to do something to keep the audience you are bleeding. Think outside the box to stay competitive and relevant.

How did you prepare for the KESQ interview?

Not much.

How does your compensation at KESQ compare to the industry average?

Very low. It wasn't a livable wage for Palm Springs.

What's the diversity at KESQ like?

It was comprised largely of one ethnicity which affected how news was presented. Bias everywhere.
