This position can be very active at times and employees must be able to move quickly when necessary.
Grounds Crew/Maintenance:
Grounds Crew members clean and maintain the premises of The Mill at Ward Cove. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, washing windows, cleaning restrooms and miscellaneous building/grounds maintenance duties; some off-site maintenance tasks to be performed as directed.
Operations Lead/Coordinator:
Tour Operators ensure the smooth flow of guests during their time at Ward Cove; assist large volumes of passengers from the dock to The Mill; communicate with coworkers using radios, answer a variety of questions regarding all subjects relating to Ketchikan, Alaska, their tour, etc. Must be well versed in all aspects of Ketchikan tour operations and have a pleasant and welcoming demeanor.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains a culturally responsive PRC department through staff training and adhering to policy and procedures while ensuring providers and patients are assisted in getting the care they need, even when it is not covered in the PRC budget.
Coordinate patient/client referrals necessary to fulfill PRC requirements and guidelines.
Ensure patient/client access and signing up to health insurance programs.
Facilitate negotiations and payments on behalf of PRC eligible patients and clients.
Provide accurate records for expenditures relevant to the health program especially the PRC program.
Some travel required for training sessions and conferences.
Monitor PRC operation budget and submit written requests for supplemental PRC funds or justifiable changes if necessary.

Oversees the program planning, development, administration, management, operation, and evaluation of the KIC THC PRC Program.
Ensure current eligibility criteria is followed which requires familiarity with the regulations and ability to explain to providers and PRC program staff. Work with the KIC attorney when appropriate. Prepare necessary correspondence to providers and patients concerning patient PRC eligibility.
Conduct community outreach and education. Ensure patients, private providers, and other agencies understand PRC is the last payor for medical services and funding is available upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Maintain appeal records files in keeping with the appeal process contained in Federal regulations or policies.

Job Summary
The Quality Technician is responsible for assisting the Quality and Risk Manager with supporting Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) processes and analyzing risk events/data throughout the Tribe. The purpose of the position is to help monitor and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures and controls to meet established performance, quality, risk and safety regulations/standards.
Essential Functions
Identifies, manages, and trends data to identify where improvements are needed and areas of success within the organization
Participates in Quality and Risk functional workgroups and carries out associated annual work plans
Provides support for clinic/program quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement teams on behalf of the Quality Department; working with program staff when necessary to include Un'ina (customer) satisfaction
Implements the Model For Improvement and Plan Do Study Act methodology to drive performance improvement projects
Participates in the Quality orientation for new employees and in the annual education of staff
Monitors performance (in relevant areas) according to applicable standards and recommends necessary actions to the Quality and Risk Manager
Provides support to the Quality/Compliance/Privacy department in conducting surveys, maintaining databases, preparing internal and external documents, and creating reports
Ensures compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies and TERO ordinance

Responsible for customer service and quality assurance in the Family Services programs, and resolution of un'ina concerns.
Manage, mentor, train and succession planning for all Family Services program employees.
Manage research grant opportunities, the Family Service program budget and approve ReqLogic, work schedules and time on Webclock.
