Description of the purpose of this job and what it contributes to Key. Includes any dotted line reporting relationship job title, if applicable. Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for assisting with rigging up and rigging down of cementing service equipment on locations. The incumbent will also assist in operating pump equipment and completion of paperwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This section contains a description of the duties and responsibilities assigned to the job. * Assists with operations and services provided in the field related to Frac Pump services. * Assists with rigging up and rigging down of cementing equipment on location including monitoring equipment and spotting of storage vessels. * Assists with pre-job calculations related to all aspects of cement job * Assists in the operation of equipment which may include: cement pumping and mixing equipment, blenders, liquid additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, density controls systems, and storage systems. * Performs other related duties as assigned. The Derrickhand is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and support function of the mud module (sack area, mud pumps and mud pit / shakers). The Derrickhand works under the direction / supervision of the Driller, but reports directly to the Rig Manager. Ability to perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations. Minimum of 3 years rig experience as a Floorhand or Motorhand for Nabors or 1 year of experience as a Derrickhand for another drilling Preventive maintenance and general repairs to the mud pumps and associated equipment including changing out the mud pump liners, as requested by the Driller or the Mud Engineer Ensuring the chemicals and mud mixture (properties) is of sufficient type and quantity to meet the needs of the drilling operations Direct and supervise the Floorhand assigned to assist with the sack handling or the shakers Perform the general housekeeping, maintenance and upkeep of the equipment in the chemical / mud pits / mud pumps Assisting the Driller with raising and lower drill pipe in and out the hole during tripping operations Essential Functions Must have good short and long term memory and the mental stamina to stay alert and attentive for up to 12 hour tour Able to works 7 or 14 days on and 7 or 14 days off, including holidays, weekends and or days and nights Must be able to respond to instructions from the Mud Engineer, Driller or Rig Manager in an efficient manner Regularly weigh the mud, analyze the viscosity and measure barrels gained or loss every half hour Must be able to repetitively climb stairs and ladders as well as be able to work while suspended upwards of 90 feet above the rig floor in a riding belt. Must be comfortable working 140+ feet above the rig floor Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 4 hours at any one time, including standing and walking on steel decking as well as gravel, board roads and mud, snow and ice Repetitively lift and carry items weighing upwards of 60 lbs up and down stairs. Repetitively swing 20 lbs sledge hammers as well as torque on wrenches /open /close valves requiring upwards of 160 lbs of torque Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and crawl throughout the tour work shift while wearing Personal Protective Equipment at all time Assist the Rig Manager with trouble shooting and problem solving duties and decisive manner Working above the drilling floor, on the monkey board, guiding the drill pipe during the tripping-in/tripping-out process, ensuring to wear proper safety equipment Other duties as required by the Rig Manager

Responsible for monitoring the progress of the drilling operation, determine when bits need to be changed while operating pumps, rotary table, draw-works and drill pipe. Ability to operate rig utilizing rig controls while monitoring operation of various equipment (pump pressures, weight indicator, drill string weight, etc.) Knowledge of Drilling rig equipment capacity and functionality including but not limited to Canrig Top Drives, accumulator units, draw works. Adjust mud pumps to maintain the proper circulation rate. Ability to perform basic math functions. Essential Functions: Attention span to stay alert and attentive for up to 12 hour tour. Able to works 7 or 14 days on and 7 or 14 days off, including holidays, weekends and or days and nights. Able to work well with others while working in a close environment for extended periods of time with minimal ability to leave the driller's cabin. This position performs work in the assembly, maintenance, testing and inspection of manual and/or hydraulic valves utilized in Oil & Gas fracturing operations. To safely ensure the efficient & continual functioning of all the mechanical equipment at the drilling rig site, supporting all the rigs in the assigned district. Installs, repairs and troubleshoots all aspects of various mechanical systems on the drilling rig, including the mud pumps, top drive and TM-80.. 2-4 years experience as a Mechanic Ability to wear respiratory protective devices Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite High school diploma or equivalent The knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing various types of diesel engines as well as mechanical devices Ensures the regular preventative maintenance activities for the mechanical components of the rig are accomplished.? Installs, repairs and tests all mechanical equipment at the rig site.? Conducts safety inspections of all major pieces of equipment, making repairs, adjustments/ calibrations as required.? Ensures that an adequate amount of spare parts are on hand at all time. Submits requisitions as needed.? Participates in rig down/ rig up activities to ensure proper disconnect, transportation and connection of mechanical equipment.?
