Regions is seeking an experienced Psychologist with an interest in and/or expertise with Pain Management to join our Interventional Pain Management team. The Pain psychologist - PhD/PsyD, LP will provide specialized psychological assessment and evaluation, consultation, education, and patient/family support, as necessary. The position requires the practice and understanding of pain psychology with assessment of adult and geriatric patients. Special areas of focus include pain and trauma. Additionally, the pain psychologist will be called upon to evaluate patients referred by neurology, neurosurgery, medical spine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, among others.
