Primary duties and responsibilities: Install, configure, and harden IT systems (Windows and Linux) in accordance with STIGs, NIST 800-53, and RMF security/compliance standards. Deploy and manage security tools such as Nessus, Splunk, and ACAS to support vulnerability management, continuous monitoring, and compliance reporting. Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation, validating results through STIG Viewer, SCAP scans, and other compliance tools. Perform lifecycle and configuration management, including secure builds, deployments, and patching. Monitor and maintain system performance and security, ensuring continuous Authorization to Operate (ATO). Collaborate with Information Security teams to assess, analyze, and respond to findings; support audits and inspections as required. Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, process guides, and IT policies. Qualifications: The Minimum qualifications are required to be considered for this position.
