The Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator position plays a vital role in supporting both the HR Administrative Services Department and the Payroll Department. This position plays a key role in assuring compliance with KHS policies and licensing regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
Upload new hire and job change documents to electronic personnel file; assure all required documents are included and accurate
Assist with bi-annual physical exam notifications and tracking
Provide support for annual licensing process
Verify clearances and medical exams are completed in accordance with licensing requirements and provide follow up to recruiting and HR as needed
Provide clerical support to HR Admin Services and Payroll Departments
Serve as back-up to the Payroll Manager for all aspects of the payroll process
Provide support for the timely and accurate processing of payroll using payroll software following established processes
Perform all payroll related task for assigned KHS companies including salary allocations, garnishments, compensation changes, and one-time payment uploads
Assist with semi-annual payroll system update testing
Interact with employees, supervisors and HR team members to resolve issues and answer payroll related questions.
Generate, analyze and distribute payroll reports and time keeping reports
Communicate with HR business partners and supervisors regarding employee time and time off matters
Maintain spreadsheets for referral and hiring incentives, cell phone reimbursements and car allowance tax calculations

The Life Skills Specialist is responsible for collaboratively and actively assisting and supporting participants in the development of life skills, facilitating groups, and the establishment and attainment of goals identified in the individual's Behavioral Health Treatment Plans.
Essential Duties and Functions
Support/assist the program participant with the development and maintenance of necessary daily living skills to live independently within their community, i.e., cooking, shopping, household chores, seeking employment and education opportunities, medication management, interpersonal relations, utilizing community resources, vocational, budgeting, banking, accessing transportation, meal preparation, etc.
Assess program participants' strengths, differing skills, and abilities to determine the best approach and learning style that can help increase the skill development of each program participant.
Model appropriate social skills to help the program participant develop positive relationships, cope with interpersonal conflict, and successfully participate in social, recreational, and cultural activities in-home and while out in the community.
Complete required documentation comprehensively and accurately, i.e., observation checks, assessments, group notes, MARs, daily shift notes (within 24 hours), mileage logs, incident reports (if applicable), and vehicle incident reports (if applicable)
Monitor participant medication as prescribed (after completion of Medication Administration Training) and complete all corresponding documentation
Operate agency vehicles in accordance with established policies and procedures
Provide emergency medical procedures as needed, including Basic First Aid, and CPR (after completion of CPR Training)
Responsible for attending supervision, clinical meetings, monthly staff meetings, and mandatory training to remain current with best practices
Promotes a healthy environment for consumers and staff.
Staff are required to stay on shift until coverage is obtained
To spend 90% of scheduled time in direct, face-to-face interactions with residents while consumers are awake. The Life Skills Professional should only be in the office or any other location, not directly interacting with the consumers when:
Writing shift notes
Updating consumer paperwork
Accompany consumers to appointments and advocate for their needs
Checking consumer-related materials, such as new medications, consumer funds, etc.
To assure that at least one (1) staff person is with residents to monitor activities during hours when consumers are awake. Staff must sit with the consumers during mealtimes to model and monitor healthy eating habits.
Participating in shift change procedures - give and receive reports at the beginning and end of each shift; count petty cash and controlled substances at each shift change
Taking brief time-outs after stressful interactions with consumers
Receive and handle all telephone calls for the consumers and the program in an appropriate and confidential manner
All other duties as identified by the site supervisor, Program Specialist, Program Nurse, Fiscal Administrator, Program Assistant Director, and Program Director

Job Description

Essential Duties and Functions
Assist and provide Administrative Assistant functions as needed.
Responsible for reviewing and processing Flexible Funding applications as well as maintaining spreadsheet
Manage all leasing functions for the Permanent Supportive Housing and Master Leasing/Bridge Programs.
Build and develop relationships with community landlords and property managers.
Locate and conduct HQS inspections on apartments for the program and/or coordinate HUD inspections through the Public Housing Authorities.
Negotiate lease conditions and rents with prospective landlords.
Gather proof of household income and calculate participant rent responsibility and utility allowances in accordance with HUD regulations; prepare documents for program participant signatures.
Track renewal dates for leases and rent calculations.
Enter all data, client and landlord info onto spreadsheets and Homeless Management Information System, including annual updates, rent changes, lease and inspection renewals. Provide monthly reports to Director.
Maintain all housing program data and assist in preparation for APR and HUD grant renewals.
Maintain a secured inventory of periodically verified leased property access hardware/software/codes.
Responsible for payment of all housing related bills to include utility payments, utility allowances, security deposit and rents, repairs, etc.
File documents, maintain and update all leasing files, close out leasing files when leases are not renewed.
Coordinate, schedule, and assist with program participant move in and move out of program.
Act as liaison between program participant and landlord for repairs to unit.
Conduct walk through inspections with program participate prior to entry, quarterly during program enrollment, and upon exit of the program; coordinate repairs with landlords and scheduling cleaning as applicable.
Maintain appropriate program participant census levels.
Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with both internal and external stake holders.
Additional duties as assigned.
This position is $22 an hour with an increase to $24 when HUD certified.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service field preferred

Encounters- Must make the productivity standard of 60% billable encounters with participants during the work week
Documentation
Encounter Notes must be entered into the database within 24 hours of the encounter
Individual Recovery Plans, Reviews, and Assessments must be completed and approved before the 90-day deadline
Intake Paperwork must be submitted and complete for all new participants

Engage in discussion with participants about WRAPs.
Facilitate creation and integration of WRAPs as desired by participants.

Maintain Compliance with Funding and Licensing Entities Related to Service Delivery
Complete Documentation of Quality Service Delivery daily. Required Documentation includes daily notes of billable encounters and nonbillable outreach attempts, Individual Recovery Plans, and Concurrent Review Reports.
Complete all Intake and Discharge documentation with participants and submit completed work to PRS Supervisor.
Attend all training as required by regulations and as desired for professional development.

Participate in Supervision at least twice monthly
Follow Psych Rehab Services and RHD policies and procedures:

Wage Information:
Starting wage: $30.00/hour plus stipend for any time served on call. Wage may be negotiable based on relevant experience.
Job Description:
Completes health appraisal on individuals when admitted to program.
Provides assistance to physicians as needed.
Evaluates, observes, and assesses physical health conditions.
Assists individual with any treatments prescribed by a physician.
Assists in administering/monitoring medications, while ensuring individuals receive error free medication at prescribed times.
Monitors Vitals and intakes and outputs.
Administers injections per physician orders.
Trains employees to correctly carry out physicians orders.
Educates individuals on medication, physical health, psychiatric health, nutrition, and selfcare.
Educates coworker's on any needed physical health matter for consistency in care.
Works with and coordinates care with pharmacy, physicians, and other health care providers.
Assist/manages medication refills, as needed.
Obtains medication and treatment needed from pharmacy or medication samples if available.
Completes medication progress sheets daily if regulated by program.
Completes medication release forms for discharge, as needed if regulated by program.
Completes pill and/or narcotic counts on established schedule if required by program.
Completes and facilitates medication disposal, as needed.
Completes medication records i.e., Medication Account Records, Physician Order Sheets, Nursing Tracking Forms etc. as per established schedule.
Completes medication record audits as per established schedule.
Schedules and attends individuals' medical appointments.
Drives van to appointments and outings and assists individuals in and out of the van.
Assists individuals in community settings.
Provides or directs the provision of nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act and legal responsibilities as defined by the State Board of nursing.
Facilitates weekly Wellness Groups for residents.
Conducts pre-evaluation for psychiatric evaluation as needed.
Willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care: safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
Commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.
Provides direct care as needed.
Knowledge of the uses and effects of psychotropic drugs and narcotics, safety practices and location security.
Knowledge of common illnesses, diseases, disabilities, injuries, and nutrition.
Ability to collect data and document in the individual's record according to policy and procedures, from individual's admission and throughout the stay and communicate relevant information to the program director.
Ability to utilize universal standards when providing individual care.
Specific to the Adolescent Residential Treatment Facility (RTF): Ability to learn the theories, principles, and techniques of group and individual psychotherapy.
Adolescent RTF Additional Duties for PRN/On-Call:
Available to respond to requests for post-emergency safety intervention face-to-face assessments as needed
Completes face-to-face assessments of residents within 1 hour following an emergency safety intervention being initiated.
Trained in the use of emergency safety interventions
Qualifications:
This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:
For the Adolescent RTF PRN/On-Call Nurse:
A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania with at least one year of psychiatric experience
Additional requirements include:
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.

The Community Inclusion Specialist (CIS) provides assistance to adults with developmental disabilities. The CIS creates and facilitates daily outings designed to promote community integration, build cultural identity, and connect participants with relevant opportunities to help meet their larger goals within the community. Participants may spend time in the community engaging in anything from cultural activities, museum visits, life skills-based excursions, volunteer opportunities, parks and more. The CIS may accompany up to three people at a time in the community, using public transportation or transport in a program vehicle for these outings.
We have two part time opportunities available with an exciting new hourly rate: $18.00!
Essential Duties and Functions
• Escort, supervise and oversee groups of up to 3 participants into the community on a daily basis to take part in activities and/or events.
• Meet the basic needs of our participants while in the community. This may include medication administration, or assistance with other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as required by the participant.
• Implement ISP's (Individual Support Plans) and behavior plans, as needed.
• Maintain sufficient knowledge of participants' ISPs and personal needs required to work with them in a meaningful and productive way.
• Create monthly budgets for outings and maintain tracking of receipts and expenditures for reconciliation.
• Complete all required paperwork, including but not limited to daily progress notes on a regular and timely basis.
• Have regular access to reliable transportation, using your own vehicle in your work
• Attend to basic first aid, when needed.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Three years' experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Basic Computer skills using Microsoft Products.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Proof of active car insurance.
This position requires medium lifting requirements, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
