Job Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, or appropriate related technical discipline, is required from an accredited institution. 4-6 years of related experience may substitute for a college diploma. One year of experience in a Chemical Engineering role in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in Safety and environmental certification is strongly preferred. ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or automotive-related internal auditing skills, as well as laboratory and waste water treatment experience is a plus. This position also requires the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast paced environment, and manage multiple activities simultaneously. Microsoft skillset is required. This position requires the ability to identify and resolve issues without direct supervision. Excellent analytical, negotiation, project management, organization, and problem solving skills are required. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, skills required. Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports: This position does not have any subordinate associates reporting to it. Difficulty of Work: This position requires the ability to understand and comply with all safety and environmental policies. Processes and procedures are well defined and must be followed. The ability to adapt in constantly changing situations is a must. Task and support responsibilities change daily. The ability to manage time effectively and multitask is also important. Personal Work Relationships: Almost all of the assignments require working with multiple departments and divisions within KYB in addition to outside consultants or firms. The nature of the work could impact every department inside KYB and could impact KYB customers.
