Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.
LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
Enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats.
Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR

Guest Service:
* Assists Guests by being able to describe all menu offerings and where they are located on the Buffet.
* Ensures that products are available and inquires of back of house Co-workers when they will have product available.
* Offers assistance to any Guests who may need help and assists Guests at the buffets when requested.
* Is friendly and courteous with Guests at all times.
Cleanliness:
* Cleans and maintains top and front of bar areas to ensure Guests have perception of a clean restaurant
* Checks, lightly cleans, and stocks the rest rooms. Informs the Utility Person or a Manager when additional cleaning and/or maintenance is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SPECIALIZED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of Safe Tracks, Golden Corral's Co-worker Food Safety and Sanitation course, and position certification thru, Golden Corral's Co-worker training program. Experience in food preparation preferred, but not required. Proof of food handler certification may be required for individuals in those applicable States.
Position requires standing and walking 3-4+ hours without a rest break. Regular, moderate-to-heavy (5-50 lbs.) lifting and carrying; bending and reaching is required. Work environment requires the use of tools such as mops, brooms, mop buckets and carts and a forceful grip is required for the use of these tools. Work setting is within the restaurant. Our Supervisory Consulting Utility Forester (SCUF) serve as leadership to Consulting Utility Foresters (CUFs) and other operations department employees. Enters tree trimming and tree and brush removal prescription into hand-held computer or other similar systems, and uses computers and associated software to perform duties.
Audits tree trimming and tree removal work completed by the tree trimming contractor in the field to ensure compliance with work request forms and approved tree trimming standards. The CUF shall complete post audit forms indicating adequacy of the tree trimming and tree removal work, and forward the completed forms to the vegetation management program manager or coordinator.
Maintain working relationships with local client personnel as well as all relevant federal, state and local governmental agencies with which it may become necessary to interact with during the course of performing their prescribed vegetation management duties.

Summary:
Today is awesome! You showed up for work, got a truck that was ready to go with all of your equipment and supplies, found the team member you would be training that day, and you drove to your first customer's house to work on a customer's drain system. The project is a challenge but you're always ready to step-up to that challenge to make sure that your work is of the highest quality and the customer is thrilled with the service they receive. You wrap up the first project of the day and get ready to move on to the next house. You're already looking forward to tomorrow!
Job Duties:
Work with the team: You stay in contact with your team leader and your team to make sure the work orders are completed efficiently - everyone pitches in because it's ultimately about serving the customer.
Develop your expertise: You repair various plumbing and drain systems and install a system when the install team needs a helping hand, knowing that you're ultimately helping people live comfortable and safer lives. Over time, you gain a growing expertise at diagnosing problems and understanding how to repair or replace them. You respond to emergencies with safety as your top priority.
Become a trusted professional: You keep your tools neat, clean, and well-maintained so they're handy and ready for use and safe. You'll learn to prepare written materials (e.g. scope of work, work orders, bids, equipment inventory, etc.) because you know that this keeps everyone informed - from the customer to the team back at the office.
Job Requirements:
You love to learn: You have a high school diploma or equivalent. Most importantly, you have a drive to learn more because you know that it serves everyone - from the customer to the team to yourself. You're even willing to be cross-trained in other trades.

You have a driver's license, a ready-to-work attitude, and no problem handling the physical demands of the job - such as lifting heavy equipment or balancing on a ladder. You're capable of working in enclosed spaces or doing a significant amount of crawling and standing. (Hey, if this is a surprise to you then you probably shouldn't be a plumber).
You're a professional: You are clean, neat, and well-groomed in appearance and you understand that safety is paramount. You won't work anywhere that is unsafe but you know safety is a two-way street, so you won't do anything unsafe either.
