Work with contract manufacturers domestically and internationally on designing, building, testing, qualification, and continuous improvements of Entegris hardware. Manage, develop, and document intellectual property. Develop performance metrics focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction and process performance. Create, manage, and validate the deliverables from product development to the release to manufacturing. Lead internal and external resources to meet the needs of customers regarding overall product performance and project timelines. Manage the professional development of the Engineering team, with a focus on semiconductor technical development, customer centricity and project execution. Support the transition of design concepts, detailed design, and product release information to manufacturing partners (internal or external) and provide ongoing technical/engineering oversight to manufacturing partners (internal and external). Engage with product marketing and customers on detailed functional requirements for our hardware products. Have ability and willingness to take a “hands-on” approach and lead by example to meeting project scope and timing including assisting project team members in the completion of deliverables as needed. Ability to travel 30% both domestically and internationally. WHAT WE SEEK 10+ years engineering experience in a related engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical or controls). Minimum of a BS degree in engineering; MS degree in engineering is preferred. 5+ years in a leadership role with a core strength in leading diverse, technical, engineering teams in the semiconductor industry. Experience in designing and developing hardware systems and working with 3rd party manufacturers to build the final product to the defined specification. Demonstrated project execution with exemplary safety, product performance, timing, and budget controls. Hands-on experience working with product lifecycle management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.); product data management tools (Accolade); and engineering change order systems. Experience with managing a technical group with a wide range of experience in a fast paced, detailed orientated, global environment. Travel, both domestically and internationally, will be required to effectively fulfill the position's responsibilities.
