Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Project Program Manager I in West Chester, OH. This role involves extensive travel within the continental United States, potentially anywhere from Seattle to Florida. Candidates need to live close to a major airport for easier travel arrangements. Candidates must be prepared to travel Monday through Friday for the duration of the 9-month assignment, minus major federal holidays. The goal is to assign one project at a time, so travel would likely be to a consistent location for about 5-6 months. There's a possibility that midway through the assignment (around the 5-6 month mark), they might have to travel to different locations week over week if assigned to two projects. Work involves retrofitting existing grocery buildings, modifying them to meet new design requirements and customer needs. Responsibilities include design review, ordering shelving, overseeing installation of new shelving through third-party contractors, and ensuring all work meets permitted standards and food health safety standards. The Project Manager needs to be able to work in a live operational environment, making changes to buildings while they're still running without impacting customer or associate experience.
