They provide as many hours as one needs.
The most disorganized, irresponsible, and non-communicative. Can take weeks to get a response from management, and my BCBA has been MIA for the past month, leaving me in pairing portion for the past 2 months. I can't represent them any longer
... They significantly underpay1, but they do offer many hours while many companies top off at 20 hrs a week
Well, they're polite at least. Not the most realistic person I've ever met. Nor the most knowledgeable. Personally was also struck by how they are not as focused on ethics as I am.
Hey, how about answering emails? How about communicating client status? How about having a BCBA that answers calls or emails? Beyond frustrating. And the pay is entry level. Maybe they just prefer working with entry level BTs.
Kids FIRST tops off at $30/hr which was what I earned many years ago at entry level. So it seems that they're used to entry level BTs with high turnaround.
No idea. It's a somewhat solitary job and I work mostly with my BCBAs.
Working with this population is something I love. I found this career path later in life, so I am particularly grateful to find it. But KidsFirst simply doesn't provide any support...and I'm talking about just the basics...update the program list ffs
