What You Will Do
Kids First is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our growing team. As a BCBA, you will:
Conduct assessments and monitor clients using a hybrid or remote work model.
Create strategies to reach goals based on the client's individual assessment.
Strategically modify the client's environment to aid in behavioral changes.
Develop ABA treatment plans aligned with the client's goals.
Train our team of Behavior Technicians to implement the client's treatment plan and ensure proper documentation of notes and progress, as well as provide them with ongoing support and supervision.
Provide ongoing support and instruction to clients' families.
Receive full training and support from our Quality Assurance Team

Purpose of Position

Responsibilities
Lead a team of dedicated Behavior Technicians, providing center based, ABA services to children between the ages of 3 to 18 years old, after school from 3 pm - 5 pm, 2 - 4 days per week and Sundays.
Conduct remote and in-person assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor client progress through consistent communication with assigned Behavior Technicians.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of treatment plans and achieve optimal outcomes.

Minimum of 11 cases depending on service hours
Empower and support your team of Behavior Technicians through regular meetings, providing feedback, training, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications
Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) for New York State and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification; Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field - Required
2-3 years of knowledge and experience providing services/support, including conducting assessments and delivering supervision of 2+ employees.
Technical Proficiencies: Program development, data analysis, BIPS, ABA principles, data collection software, and supervision competence - Required
2-3 years of knowledge and experience of Case Management - Required
CentralReach ABA Software experience - A plus!
Physical Requirement: Office work and minimal lifting as needed, including but not limited to climbing up flights of stairs, and other tasks as needed.

Track supervision hours and annually renew the RBT certification as mandated by the regulatory body to maintain the certification.
Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code.
Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies as well as Kids First's policies and procedures.
Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain a record, in good standing, of regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, to provide quality and consistent patient care. Reliable transportation and timely arrival to session is a requirement for this role.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Complete the assigned Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training. If additional time is needed to complete the training, the paraprofessional should speak with management.

Additionally, you will support parent training and clinical evaluations, promoting ethical conduct and compliance with Kids First's policies.
Responsibilities
Work 1:1 with clients in the home-based and clinic-based setting.
Consistently follow and implement treatment plans set up by the BCBA Supervisor and prepare program materials; treatment protocols that include a wide variety of domains such as toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills.
Maintain open communication with the BCBA Supervisor to review program goals and procedures for each client.
Collect and maintain accurate data and notes utilizing data collection software.
Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations.
Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings, as required by Kids First.
Assist with parent training and clinical assessments, as needed.
Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed.
Track supervision hours and annually renew the RBT certification as mandated by the regulatory body to maintain the certification.
Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code.
Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies as well as Kids First's policies and procedures.
Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain a record, in good standing, of regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, to provide quality and consistent patient care. Reliable transportation and timely arrival to session is a requirement for this role.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Complete the assigned Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training. If additional time is needed to complete the training, the paraprofessional should speak with management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Registered Behavior Technician; Or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of start date - Required
Technical Proficiencies: Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), Adobe PDF, Google Suite, data collection and analytical reporting - Required
3-4 years of experience conducting 1:1 work with clients In-school/in-home experience addressing and navigating challenging behaviors - Required
3-4 years of experience working with children/adults (between ages 3-18) - Required
3-4 years of experience in Case management and behavioral plans - Required
3-4 years of knowledge of direct, professional ABA experience - Required
CentralReach ABA Software experience - A plus!
Obtain knowledge of addressing challenging behaviors or stereotypes of children/adults with Autism - Required
Physical Requirement: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force, and lifting as needed, including but not limited to climbing up flights of stairs, and other tasks as needed.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, parents, and other professionals when necessary. Obtains the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
