**Responsibilities**
- Provide supervisory direction of craft personnel via internal or external general foreman, managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence
- Act as liaison between field engineering and project craft to ensure compliance of construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate and interface effectively with other superintendents and subcontractors, as well as Kiewit staff personnel and leadership to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
- Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
- Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
- Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company's non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
**Qualifications**
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed
- 5+ years' work experience in the construction industry, with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Previous knowledge/experience in vertical building setting required
- Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance

- Assist in the development, review, updating, and communication of the SSSP to everyone including subcontractors
- Collaborate with the craft every day in the field to encourage buy-in of our safety program and to support craft ownership of the safety program
- Exercise Stop Work Responsibility to ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, work plans, work packs, and detailed work plans
- Plan, prioritize, and problem-solve with operations in the field every day based on leading indicator trends and upcoming work
- Encourage, support, inspire, and advise staff and craft employees to execute the SSSP

# Overview:

**Primary Purpose**
Directs, coordinates and performs assignments involving customer contact, processing, design and modification of engineering and/or construction plans for service connections, distribution projects and related work.
**Primary Duties**
+ Provides primary contact with customers for various projects such as: residential, commercial, governmental, traffic signals and streetlights. Maintains adequate and effective customer contacts with various individuals such as: owners, government officials, developers, builders, architects, consultants and electricians. Contacts are through meetings, correspondence, telephone calls and/or appropriate means to: determine the customers' needs; address customers questions and/or complaints and provide the customer with the necessary company standards, policies, rules and regulations for the various services provided. Prepare and communicate to internal and external customers project cost estimates using applicable engineering procedures. Obtain customer signatures, plans, agreements, state tree permissions and right-of-way cards as necessary to complete the project.
+ Applies knowledge of engineering and design practices to prepare construction details for class of services, estimates, traffic control plans, space reservation drawings, third party ride-outs and jobs involving the distribution system using conventional, computer aided drafting and design and or electronic field data collecting. Identifies easement requirements. Performs calculations such as: pole type and height, pole locations, anchor requirements, down guy requirements, fuse requirements, transformer sizes, cable size & quantities, voltage drops, load flow analysis, feeder balancing, cable pulling tensions, regulator settings, fault currents and estimated class of service cost. These projects involve the installation, rearrangement, replacement and/or removal of: overhead lines, underground/URD lines, conduit lines, manholes, primary feeders (fused and unfused), secondary (mainline and service), network, roof top, streetlights, traffic signals, telecommunication (i.e., utility wireless radio equipment), ADSS cables, and temporary services. Additionally, these projects would involve up to and including multiple feeders, and/or voltages through 69 kV and extensions of mainline conduit, mainline cable and manholes. Assists with the design and drawings of transmission facilities of all voltages, under the guidance of the engineer.
+ Provide necessary liaison with engineering and construction personnel. Verifies certification of customer structural facilities, payment received, and Temporary Pending Final (TPF) obtained. Prepare job release form and request, coordinate and communicate the project schedule.
+ Process and issue documents such as: service orders, work orders, assist with meter orders and street light forms as necessary to install, change, rearrange and remove service connection facilities and billing records. Monitor, updates and prioritize projects.
+ Reviews customer "on-site" structural facility drawings and/or switchgear drawings and make the necessary changes in order to process the drawings for approval. Review and markup "on-site" structural facility drawing and/or switchgear drawings' and prepare approval or rejection letter.
+ Performs field inspections to monitor construction status and as an individual or crew leader evaluate, analyze and obtain field site information necessary to complete the project. Direct and or set up traffic control and safety equipment as necessary to perform field duties.
+ Directs, trains and/or assist lower classified employees in all phases of Distribution Designer work.
+ Operates company vehicle.
+ Provides assistance during system emergencies. This includes the ability to use the Advantex System during system emergencies.
+ Employees in this classification are required to complete and maintain required certifications.
+ Updates land base details (i.e., sidewalks, buildings, roads, PEPCO facilities and foreign utilities) as necessary in GIS. These updates include the ability to Geo-Reference a site plan to provide the necessary detail to obtain permits, right-of-ways, easements and provide an interface with other departments (i.e., Control Center, construction and Real Estate) in order to complete the project.

Coordinate training programs with the HP staff to ensure a safe and expeditious return to training of SOF personnel recovering from injury.

Communicate and collaborate with sports medicine professionals and/or bridge coordinator to ensure a smooth transition from rehabilitation to performance based activities. Will also collaborate with mental performance and performance nutrition to ensure a holistic approach to human performance.
Assist the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator in developing facility standard operating procedures, guidelines, and training protocols including the safe use of strength and conditioning equipment.
Participate in periodic meetings to review and evaluate physical training programs and identify opportunities for improvement. If a meeting occurs outside of regular working hours-unable to attend a meeting, the SCS is responsible for reviewing the information disseminated in meetings.
Participate in periodic in-service training for members of the HP staff and/or POTFF staff as appropriate.
Attend required training in accordance with guiding instructions. Commands will allow attendance at the necessary conferences or courses to complete the continuing education units to maintain professional certifications.
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records of utilization, workload, conducting or participating in education programs, and participating in clinical staff quality assurance functions.
Develop and promulgate training materials as requested and required by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator.
Assist with supply inventories and provide input regarding supply needs for the HP program.
Proficiently utilize computers, software, and technologies as and requested by the HP program Manager and/or Coordinator and required by USSOCOM HQ and its POTFF staff.

Checks chemical dosage tank level and refill tank
Performs routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to include calibrations, basic mechanical and electrical work, and lubricating and replacing parts
Maintains all required records such as daily operating logs, AF forms, daily inspection process forms, and chemical and repair parts inventory and compiles and analyzes data and reports daily
Manages the operating budget and materials/supplies procurement for the wastewater plant.
Requirements:

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active US Secret clearance or AUS PV Clearance.
An Associate Degree in a related field, such as environmental science or chemistry.
A high school diploma and on-the-job training in job duties of wastewater treatment may be considered.

Office Engineering:
- Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications and other contract documents
- Perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations

**Qualifications**
