We self-perform the majority of our work and are looking for people committed to the industrial construction industry. **Location** This position will be based out of our Waltham MA office. **Responsibilities** + Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement staff, estimators, and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through engineering and construction. + Develop and maintain resource loaded schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects. + Develop schedule logic and realistic activity durations + Analyze available manpower and resources, commodity charts, trends, schedule variations, schedule performance and schedule forecast. + Assess the impact of design changes and schedule slippages and inform company management of all schedule updates. + Perform Time Impact Analysis to quantify time entitlement. + Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting. + Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities. Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections within the Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD MEP, and/or Revit. Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member Water and/or Wastewater treatment evaluation and design. Pump station evaluation and design. Water distribution system hydraulic modeling, analysis, and design. Sewer collection system evaluation and design. Stormwater modeling, analysis, and design. Willingness and ability to occasionally travel to sites in the northeastern US and offices throughout the Northeast Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related field Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models) Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) GIS and CAD skills Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software Detail oriented while still able to understand/comply with the big picture/goals of a project Ability to multi-task Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment, and demonstrate growth potential as well as a desire to learn Strong logic skills and writing skills Documents time and effort accurately Ability to work productively in a team environment Good verbal and written communication skills Flexible - can adapt to shifting priorities / work schedules Able to work independently Self-learner Can take direction from others and in turn can provide guidance to others Additional Information Relocation is not available for this position.
