Responsibilities
* Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality and schedule adherence
* Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with erection manuals and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work.
* Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
* Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate
* Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company's non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies
Qualifications
* 5+ years' work experience in mechanical scopes of work. Candidates for this role do not have to have Superintendent experience, those who have filled foreman and general foreman roles are encouraged to apply. Previous knowledge/experience in rotating equipment installation
* Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance
* Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities
* Develop one line and three line diagrams that define project scope, equipment configuration, and protection philosophy.
* Create detailed AC and DC schematic diagrams, including control circuits, tripping schemes, metering, and auxiliary power systems.
* Design and review wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and interconnection drawings for relays, RTUs, communication equipment, and station devices.
* Perform P&C related engineering calculations such as CT/PT sizing, DC load calculations, breaker duty checks, and protection coordination studies.
* Support development of relay settings, logic diagrams, and configuration files for microprocessor based relays.
* Assist with RTU/SCADA configuration, point lists, and communication interface requirements.
* Collaborate with civil, structural, and physical electrical design teams to ensure integrated and constructible substation designs.
* Provide technical support during procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
* 5-7 years of experience with substation protection and control design for utility or EPC projects.
* Familiarity with relay setting software (e.g., SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista) and RTU/SCADA configuration tools.

Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking candidates interested in a future position as a Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Coordinator in the Great Lakes region. This would be an on-site full-time position at the client's facility. There will be intermittent statewide travel for TIM workshops, committee meetings, industry conferences and nationally for industry conferences; some overnight travel may be required. There may be on-call 24/7 responsibilities for escalated major incident responses.
The TIM Coordinator's will focus on the following four core responsibility areas:
TIM Program Management
Establishing regional stakeholder relationships and incorporating them into a productive TIM Team that will meet routinely and operate under a defined charter (if said TIM Team(s) do not already exist, at which time the TIM Coordinator will actively participate while representing the client)
Create a categorized list of topics that are TIM priorities for the client agency and establish specific goals under each that can be accomplished through defined initiatives. Summarize this exercise into a TIM Program Strategic Plan.
Participate in statewide conferences and workgroup meeting opportunities as a representative and speaker representing the client's TIM program. Broaden the program's audience and ancillary participant base.
Serves as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies in matters concerning the coordination of TIM related plans and services.
Serve as a participant or champion in the development of multi-agency collaborated TIM plans in advance of major events (planned and unplanned).
Production or delegation of meeting agendas, minutes, studies, and ad-hoc analyses. This should be done in conjunction with the development of a central repository for all TIM program materials as deemed important by the client agency.
Develop a TIM program marketing plan to encourage agency participation and quantify value.
Incident Response Training (e.g., safety service patrol)
Actively collaborate on the incident responder initial training program, keeping it current, innovative, and effective.
Participate in train-the-trainer exercises, learning all agency protocols and skills associated with the client's incident response program to facilitate training on an as-needed basis.
Routinely audit and edit the incident response program's standard operating procedures in the interest of keeping them current and relevant in the delivery of training modules.
Establish a safety program designed specifically for the client's incident response staff that includes content from the agency's safety mandates, OSHA, and best practices from other programs operating under a similar mission. The program should include safety tracking mechanisms, reporting protocols, auditing guidelines, and staff training.
Create educational content for recurrent training to be delivered annually in safety stand-down scenarios and on a shift basis during the pre-deployment briefings.
Define and maintain electronic training records for each member of the incident response and TIM program teams, including deadlines for recertification, tracking of completed training, and documented completions of specialized training (e.g., HazMat and CDL).
Prepare applications (e.g., grant applications) to the federal government for planning and training funding assistance.
Create ad-hoc training modules to be provided on an as-needed basis as recurrent training as topics arise (e.g., work zone law lane tapering).
Introduction and Deployment of TIM Technology
Establish guidelines for beta-testing new technologies, including hardware and software, that will sufficiently trial potential advancements for the client's TIM and Incident Management programs.
Incorporate information technology-based solutions into the TIM program, with the intent being to increase staff safety, improve incident clearance efficiency, and enhance event data capture for future engineering solution purposes.
Create and facilitate an agency technology evaluation team in cooperation with the local client. Its purpose being to evaluate new technologies and determine their value to the client from an operational and financial standpoint.
Statistical Analysis
Collect and analyze raw data outputs for the preparation of regional/statewide performance reports on mobility, operations, and TIM trends.
Collaborate with data scientists (AECOM or client) to develop real-time dashboards that present events and incidents, including their associated key data points such as incident response and clear times, public notification, hotspot proximity, and severity levels.
Create multi-disciplinary workgroups that will routinely review mobility, operations, and TIM reports in the interest of generating collective solutions to negative trends related to traveler safety.
Establish user authority and known locations for all data streams available as related to traffic incident management. Utilize these data streams to produce ad-hoc statistical reports based on special circumstances and requests (e.g., time-lapsed blizzard roadway incident reports, roadway infrastructure damage summaries after a major storm).
Qualifications

This position gives you the opportunity to engage in a variety of planning work that may include Transit and rail planning for all types of public transit modes, projects and programs.

Oversee multidisciplinary teams as they:

Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Prepare technical specification sections.
Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Coordinate tasks and provides leadership and mentorship to entry-level engineers.
Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.

Qualifications

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our team in Chicago, supporting exciting projects that improve community infrastructure.
The qualified applicant will have experience in water/wastewater engineering and construction management principles, and will be familiar with the design, construction, and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Technical design of projects associated with municipal water / wastewater / drainage infrastructure improvements.
Providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Participating in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Developing construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Performing quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Preparing technical specification sections.
Providing input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Providing guidance and mentoring to entry-level engineers.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
EIT with plans to pursue a PE
4+ years of relevant water infrastructure design experience
Previous experience with AutoCAD.
Strong working knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn, and a desire to work in a team environment

**Primary Purpose**
The Transmission Lines Engineering (TLE) Overhead and Underground Designer and Doc Control will be assisting lead designers in reviewing all Issue For Records (IFR) packages from vendors and importing them to internal systems, updating Transmission records, and retaining records for Transmission Overhead (TOH) and or Transmission Underground (TUG) teams by scanning all historical Transmission drawings and records and retaining them in internal systems. The designer will assist in developing TLE Document Control specific processes and associated procedures ensuring documents and changes comply with established requirements of TLE department. They will assist is transferring design models to AutoCAD drawings. They will work under supervision to assist TOH TUG designers. Skills in PLS-CADD, modeling Transmission Lines structures, or Transmission Underground designs are a plus.
Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
**Primary Duties**
+ Assists experienced engineers in performing well-defined engineering assignments exercising independent discretion; (e.g. Collect data, perform analysis, interpret results, & draw conclusions)
+ Assists in the performance of complex engineering assignments.(e.g. Analyze and interpret the results of power flows and perform electrical tests, and analyze non-specific and ambiguous results)
+ Assists with technical consultation, plan developments and recommendations for customer and company systems and processes; (e.g. Verify and validate studies, blueprints, or designs against accepted engineering principles and practices)
+ Evaluates effectiveness of current technical systems and processes. Participates on teams; (e.g. Design high voltage transmission and distribution circuits, meeting all engineering standards and criteria)

+ Applies technical knowledge to help promote a safe work environment and to enhance customer satisfaction.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) (1) or equivalent relevant education / experience (See Section Below) (2) AND 0-2 years field experience in engineering, construction, or applicable utility experience (1) Examples of technical fields (non-engineer) include Engineering Technology, Electronics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, etc. (2) Relevant education / experience is knowledge and skills that may be acquired through job experiences or education programs related to those acquired through a formal technical degree program. Examples include experience gained in a military role applicable to electric power distribution, completion of a journey-level electrician program (e.g., overhead / underground electrician, electrical mechanic), or completion of a company-sponsored technical education program (e.g., Elements of Electrical Engineering (E3) series). The equivalent relevant education / experience is in addition to the position's minimum experience requirements.
+ Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Knowledge and ability to apply problem-solving approaches.
+ Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
+ Limited knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices necessary to perform routine assignments for a specific discipline installations, or service.
+ 1-3 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Transmission Line Engineering design experience preferred
