The Senior CivilEngineer will lead civil design project teams to create world class designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects including power, process, corporate, healthcare, pipeline, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government and military facilities. The Senior CivilEngineer will lead the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting civil plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs. This role is required to be based in one of the following locations: Dallas, TX; Fort Worth, TX; Columbus, OH; Walnut Creek, CA; or Chicago, IL.
+ Lead civil design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
+ Prepare civil equipment: packaged equipment and construction specifications and data sheets, Request's for Qualifications (RFQ's), technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
+ Review civil vendor drawings; data interface with suppliers, clients other engineering disciplines, detailers, designers.
+ Participate in development of project schedule, scope, budget staffing planning and construction planning. Responsible for effective management of change orders.
+ Applies expert knowledge of commonly used civil concepts, practices, codes and procedures within the civilengineering services industry. Compiles studies and reports. Writes specifications.
+ Applies knowledge and experience to complex projects, find's/develops non-standard design solutions.
+ Quality review production drawings for a variety of projects and project related data as required by the project managers to verify design compliance with project, client, and industry standards, including constructability.
+ Quality review the construction administration including coordination with field personnel to resolve design related installation issues, calculations, field inspections and testing of materials.
+ Leads field inspections, installation, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
+ Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
+ Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
+ Participate sales and marketing efforts and identify, lead and manage key pursuits.
+ Lead the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance.
+ Prepare, present and manage project budgets and cost estimates. Report project performance.
+ Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to the civilengineering practice. Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
+ Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
+ Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines.
+ Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree in CivilEngineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. and 7 years civilengineering experience. EPC project experience preferred. Or,

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment.

The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented and self-motivated Transportation Engineer for immediate employment with the Highway Group in the Cincinnati, Ohio office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in CivilEngineering specific to roadway and highway design, drainage design, pavement design, and the preparation of construction documents, including plans, specifications and construction estimates.
The candidate will initially be assigned to work for the Highway Design Team on the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. Beyond this initial project the candidate can look forward to projects including:
Intersection and Interchange Improvement Plans
Interstate Reconstruction Plans
Urban and Rural Roadway Improvement Plans
Traffic Control Plans
Maintenance of Traffic Plans
Drainage and Stormwater BMP Design
The candidate will be responsible for following ODOT, KYTC, and municipal standards and performing engineering calculations.
This role will provide the opportunity to directly support transformational projects including the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. This project is one of the largest highway infrastructure projects in the country and entails design and construction of a new bridge crossing of the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington Kentucky, along with 8 miles of significant highway improvements. Job Description
The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented and self-motivated Transportation Engineer for immediate employment with the Highway Group in the Cincinnati, Ohio office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in CivilEngineering specific to roadway and highway design, drainage design, pavement design, and the preparation of construction documents, including plans, specifications and construction estimates.
The candidate will initially be assigned to work for the Highway Design Team on the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. Beyond this initial project the candidate can look forward to projects including:
* Intersection and Interchange Improvement Plans
* Interstate Reconstruction Plans
* Urban and Rural Roadway Improvement Plans
* Traffic Control Plans
* Maintenance of Traffic Plans
* Drainage and Stormwater BMP Design
The candidate will be responsible for following ODOT, KYTC, and municipal standards and performing engineering calculations.
This role will provide the opportunity to directly support transformational projects including the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project. This project is one of the largest highway infrastructure projects in the country and entails design and construction of a new bridge crossing of the Ohio River between Cincinnati and Covington Kentucky, along with 8 miles of significant highway improvements. Design is in progress, providing a unique opportunity for multiple career-defining roles on the project. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
* Preferred minimum 5 years of experience with an emphasis in civilengineering fields such as highway design, traffic control design, stormwater and multimodal transportation projects.
* Registered Professional Engineer in Ohio and/or Kentucky or ability to obtain PE license in 6 months
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using Bentley OpenRoads software and experience with MS Office
* Ability to work as a member of a team or perform independent work as required.
* Good interpersonal skills, good command of the English language both, verbally and written, the ability to express thoughts clearly, good time management skills, and a good attitude towards work.

Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking a Graduate Construction Project Engineer to be based in Cleveland, OH .
This position is expected to begin in Spring 2026.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assists with the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within the area of responsibility.
Monitor's subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations.
Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned area of responsibility.
Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility.
Receives technical and operational direction from the assigned Superintendent or Project Manager.
Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management.
Assists with compliance of the AECOM Hunt safety program that creates a safe and healthy work environment on the jobsite.
Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate including but not limited to updating drawings, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and other documents as required.
When requested, interfaces with client, architect, and design professionals to ensure compliance to design intent and client satisfaction.
Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, CivilEngineering, or similar major.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Prior Internship experience within the construction industry.
Experience working on a live construction site.
Able to follow directions and interact with all levels of management on a working construction project.
Experience engaging with multiple trades on a construction project.
