Requirements: * Minimum of 1 year manufacturing and/or industrial experience (including relevant experience gained in military service) or equivalent education. This includes experience in any of the following: hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, power transmission systems, welding, pipefitting, structural repair, and diesel mechanic. * Machine Shop experience a plus. * High School Diploma or GED * The position requires you to work 8 to 12- hour shifts (Days or Nights), which will include Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays. * The position requires overtime work as needed. * Adherence to safety procedures/guidelines always.     Your Job Molex is seeking two highly skilled and innovative Project Test Engineers to lead and support reliability testing activities for advanced cable assemblies (DAC, ACC, AEC) and related interconnect products at the Arkansas Design Center (ADC) located in Conway, AR. This role is critical to ensuring robust production validation during product development phases and contribute to lab capability enhancements. What You Will Do * Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute mechanical and electrical reliability test plans aligned with design validation and production validation requirements. Coordinate environmental, mechanical, and electrical validation tests for new products with on-site or external test facilities. Perform interoperability and stress tests using advanced platforms (e.g., VNA-based systems, BER Test, and automated LLCR testers). * Lab Systems & Equipment: Setup and maintain automated test systems for mechanical and electrical testing. Support calibration and preventive maintenance of lab instruments (thermal chambers, load testes, microscopes, etc.) * Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide recommendations for design improvements. Coordinate and conduct failure analysis using optical microscopy and cross-section techniques. * Process & Compliance: Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs), training plans, and promote 6S standards in the lab. Ensure compliance with internal and external industry test specifications (e.g., EIA-364 series, GR-468-CORE). * Collaboration & Support: Work closely with design engineers, quality engineers, production teams, project management and technical project management teams to resolve reliability issues and ensure test schedules meet customer request dates. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a design, test, or support engineering role. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Demonstrated ability to arrive at sound design solutions. * Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external customers. * Good written and verbal skills for clear and concise communication. * Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required (up to 25%).
