**Responsibilities**
+ Lead the development and execution of the **Project Quality Plan (PQP)** in alignment with USACE and DOTD standards.
+ Oversee quality control and assurance activities across all phases of construction, including site development, wharves, and ramps.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, specifications, and contract requirements.
+ Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews of construction activities and documentation.

**Qualifications**
+ **Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana** - active and in good standing.

**Job Description**
This position provides oversight for all contract management activities on mega projects or key, strategic projects. This role assures, through assigned contract administrators, compliance with Prime Contract, and Fluor Contract Management Practices. AECOM is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Water business line, specializing in heavy mechanical engineering. In this role, you will design, develop, and oversee the fabrication of large-scale mechanical systems that are critical to water infrastructure.
You will work on a variety of complex projects involving waterworks gates such as vertical lift gates, radial gates, sluice gates, Tainter gates, and sector gates. Additionally, you will be required to size and select winches, wire rope and chain hoisting systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric actuators, gear systems, and other precision mechanisms associated with these gates, delivering solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. **Responsibilities**
+ Work with a vibrant and diverse team to build, estimate, and schedule civil, grading, utilities, roadway, and structural construction.
+ Support both administrative and construction activities as assigned by supervisor; review proposals, specifications and drawings, perform material takeoffs, prepare cost estimates and attend pre-bid investigation meetings.
