Your Role at KIK
This role will be a member of our maintenance team, and will support the mechanical, electrical, and PLC needs at the manufacturing plant.
What You'll Be Doing
* Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment including but not limited to: motors (all types), starters, breakers, transformers, isolation switches, relays, fuses, resistors, air conditioning, valves, AC Drives, DC Drives, electrical cable, fiber optic cable, coaxial cable, conduit, receptacles, PLCs, heaters, control panels, lights & lighting panels, distributive controls, UPS, fire & emergency alarms, disposal of bulbs and other hazardous material.
* Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment including but not limited to: transmitters (all types), valves, I/P, positioners, actuators, dampers, flow meters, and level sensors.
* Complete and prioritize multiple work orders, in support of controls systems, motors, mechanical equipment, PLC programming, etc.
* Work to effectively troubleshoot technical issues both related to maintenance and in emergency situations; Troubleshooting electrical, motor and control problems. This includes determining if a motor or electrical system, is functioning properly and is configured properly.
* If there is a problem, determine the proper course of action and safely implement it. Solutions may include taking voltage and amp readings, tracing wiring, evaluating relays, testing motors, evaluating health of wiring, checking breakers and fuses, evaluating sensors and determining the health of overall systems and equipment.
* Discuss and explain technical issues in a business environment; act professionally during times of equipment breakdown.
* Utilize MS Windows, Industrial Software and SAP on a daily basis.
* Cooperatively assist maintenancetechnicians on shift as needed. Including the performance of mechanical repairs when appropriate.
* Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, MaintenanceTechnicians to successfully accomplish engineering projects.

What You'll Bring
* At least 3 years Manufacturing/Industrial setting experience utilizing troubleshooting & programming PLCs
* Associates degree in electronic field and/or Electrical Diploma/Certificate with at least 3 years of experience OR 5+ years of proven experience in related field is highly desirable.
* Proficient with SAP
* Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities and assignments
* Ability to train and coach others from technical expertise
* Ability to use hand tools

* Knowledge of E-Stops and other Safety Circuits
* Knowledge of NFPA 70 and 70E
* Knowledge of instrumentation utilizing analog and digital inputs/outputs
* Ability to configure IP and serial communication ports for all connections to PLC & HMI hardware.
* Experience with Rockwell software packages including Rockwell, RS Logix 5, 500, 5000, etc.
* Experience in automated control systems and associated networking configurations (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, etc.)
* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings/schematics
* Understand ladder logic & function block programming, PLC tagging structure and PLC hardware configuration.
* Understanding of the process flow and associated designs
* Ability to troubleshoot, test, install and document programs and any associated changes
* Proper download/retrieval of machine programming.
* Ability to remove/install pre-calibrated process control instrumentation (Transmitters, Digital Readouts, etc.)
* Accurate and timely completion of daily paperwork.

How this role will be impactful
Responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks and special projects. Repairs, installs, and adjusts machinery and equipment, performing parts replacement, routine and preventative maintenance.
Perform routine preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure smooth business and production operations. Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment. Ability to work in all departments in the processing plant environment, which includes cold, damp conditions. Clean, lubricate and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery. Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs. Provide a means of notification/communication during non-working hours for emergencies. Respond to emergency call-ins within 30 minutes. Ensure shop and surrounding areas are kept clean by the removal of all debris in work areas, work benches and break rooms. Position Summary
Farmer Focus has an opportunity for a Maintenance Lead! In this position the lead will be responsible for coordinating maintenance operations at the Acorn plant to ensure smooth production operations, high safety standards, assigning, training and monitoring staff in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate preventative maintenance program, equipment, and facilities repair for essential operations.
Maintain department performance within standards for efficient utilization of human resources and materials.
Seek new opportunities for continuous improvement in materials and processes, including lean manufacturing and TQM.
Ensure that routine equipment checks are being completed on all PLC's and essential equipment.
Coordinate equipment and labor to optimize completion of projects, routine maintenance, and necessary repairs.
Ensure proper maintenance of refrigeration equipment, via the staff assigned to it. Responsible for maintenance and completion of PSM program.
Supervise wastewater treatment operations, work towards the highest standard of wastewater recycling. Ensure that the wastewater treatment meets the requirements of the discharge permit.
Keep up knowledge of current maintenance and manufacturing technologies and systems.
Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, EEO, and other appropriate government regulations.
Establish and maintain appropriate working relationships with other management personnel and USDA representatives.
Responsibilities
Mentor and motivate 5-12 team members, providing training and development to optimize their performance and personal growth.
Communicate performance standards to team members, recognizing and rewarding individual and team accomplishments and counseling performance problems.
Communicate standards and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, quality standards, GMP's, and HAACP procedures.
Train and enforce safety regulations and practices.
Manage staffing and attendance.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Associate degree in related field and five to seven years of related supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities
As an Equipment Engineer, you will provide technical oversight of all Cell Therapy and Viral Vector equipment and will work with the Manufacturing and Quality Control departments during the full equipment life cycle. This role supports day-to-day operations, equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across all critical GMP departments, including such equipment as incubators, Biological Safety Cabinets, Lovos, Prodigies, and any new Cell Therapy equipment.
Establish and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root-cause analyses, and drive corrective actions.
Collaborate with external service providers to ensure timely, compliant service activities.
Update Maximo CMMS promptly upon completion of maintenance tasks.
Author and execute IQ/OQ/PQ protocols in compliance with GMP and regulatory guidelines (FDA, ICH).
Partner with Quality, Validation, and Manufacturing teams to ensure equipment qualification documentation is accurate and audit ready.
Manage equipment change controls and support technical assessments for deviations and CAPAs, ensuring adherence to timelines.
Train manufacturing and laboratory staff on proper equipment operation procedures, when required.
Ensure that changes, maintenance and other interventions do not adversely impact the qualification state of the equipment.
Lead/support the tech transfer of new equipment and unit operations across Equipment development and manufacturing
Provide technical oversight during development of equipment and Equipment system User Requirements and related Design Review/Qualification documentation to ensure equipment and systems are appropriate for intended purpose.
Provide guidance in development of test plans for Verification packages and associated critical components.

Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
7+ yr's. relevant experience, preferably in the biotech industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job purpose / summary / objective
Ensures all work is carried out in a safe and orderly manner. Complies with protocols and documentation related to OSHA and food safety. Job purpose / summary / objective
Ensures all work is carried out in a safe and orderly manner. Complies with protocols and documentation related to OSHA and food safety. Will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated material handling and greenhouse equipment. You will use preventive and predictive maintenance processes, and rapidly troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and quickly restore equipment to service to support the successful operation of the facility. Job Summary
The Facilities MaintenanceTechnician is responsible for performing a wide variety of routine repair and preventative maintenance tasks required to keep our Production buildings, facilities equipment and retail locations operating properly, safely and efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities
Performs preventative maintenance programs/tasks for all equipment.
Responsible for minor repairs of buildings, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
Assists in coordinating/directing subcontractor services for completion of extensive or complex projects.
Follows and ensures compliance with all applicable OSHA, GMP, FDA, State, Local and Company regulations, policies and procedures.
Responds to emergency calls, makes immediate repairs when necessary and assists subcontractor if further repairs are necessary.
Performs special projects as assigned.
Reports all facility safety and security issues to management.
Performs general cleaning of facility, equipment and tools.
Assists in fostering a positive work environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect while perpetuating a curiosity for “everything cannabis”.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license is required.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Able to pass all background checks.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

**Your Role at KIK**
This role will be a member of our maintenance team, and will support the mechanical, electrical, and PLC needs at the manufacturing plant.
**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment including but not limited to: motors (all types), starters, breakers, transformers, isolation switches, relays, fuses, resistors, air conditioning, valves, AC Drives, DC Drives, electrical cable, fiber optic cable, coaxial cable, conduit, receptacles, PLCs, heaters, control panels, lights & lighting panels, distributive controls, UPS, fire & emergency alarms, disposal of bulbs and other hazardous material.
+ Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment including but not limited to: transmitters (all types), valves, I/P, positioners, actuators, dampers, flow meters, and level sensors.
+ Complete and prioritize multiple work orders, in support of controls systems, motors, mechanical equipment, PLC programming, etc.
+ Work to effectively troubleshoot technical issues both related to maintenance and in emergency situations; Troubleshooting electrical, motor and control problems. This includes determining if a motor or electrical system, is functioning properly and is configured properly.
+ If there is a problem, determine the proper course of action and safely implement it. Solutions may include taking voltage and amp readings, tracing wiring, evaluating relays, testing motors, evaluating health of wiring, checking breakers and fuses, evaluating sensors and determining the health of overall systems and equipment.
+ Discuss and explain technical issues in a business environment; act professionally during times of equipment breakdown.
+ Utilize MS Windows, Industrial Software and SAP on a daily basis.
+ Cooperatively assist maintenancetechnicians on shift as needed. Including the performance of mechanical repairs when appropriate.
+ Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, MaintenanceTechnicians to successfully accomplish engineering projects.
