Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician (Monday - Friday with OT as needed 5:00am - 3:30pm), where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and monitoring equipment, conducting repairs and replacements. You'll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. What You'll Be Doing
Independently identify and repair equipment issues within assigned areas with minimal supervision
Diagnose and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Experience with troubleshooting blow mold, bottling, filling equipment and gantry palletizers
Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick & innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving
Promptly respond to equipment related issues with customer-oriented manner
Make tooling, die, choke manifold, toggle and clamp, and profile sequence setting adjustments to maintain quality bottles. Replacing molds.
Troubleshooting extruders and heating bands.
Experience with troubleshooting hydraulic systems, power packs and hose replacements, servo and control valves.
Perform general electrical repairs including wire connections, relays, photo-eyes, solenoids, working with 120v-480v, diagnose and wire up motors and troubleshoot variable speed drives. Must be able to properly use multimeter and read schematics
Maintaining chillers, grinders, and regrind/resin reclaiming systems.
Perform preventative maintenance blenders, and safety inspections
Modify, repair, install and troubleshoot various conveyor systems including but not limited to roller, belt, intralox, gravity, chain plate types
Diagnose, rebuild, troubleshoot and replace various pump types
Experience with using CMMS and documenting emergencies and planned work and good communication skills
Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment and facilities in the processing & packaging departments
Setup, takedown, and relocation of Process and Packaging equipment
Frequently modify packaging & process equipment for new products
Provide solutions to routine or unique equipment problems.
Experience with general shop tools and fabrication including use of grinders, saws, presses, lathes and mills

Job purpose / summary / objective
Ensures all work is carried out in a safe and orderly manner. Complies with protocols and documentation related to OSHA and food safety. Will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated material handling and greenhouse equipment. Summary
The Satellite Operations Center Technician will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 satellite and network operations support. The Technician is part of a team that ensures the effective monitoring, control, and configuration of a global satellite communications network including forward deployed satellite earth terminals and embedded network communications equipment. The Technician will provide daily operational support for iDirect technologies hub and remote systems supporting global TDMA/IP networks. Primary & Essential Accountabilities
Continuously monitor network and satellite space segment performance to provide customer Tier 1 and Tier 2 support as required
Remotely troubleshoot VSAT systems via iDirect software
Resolve customer issues related to broadband IP communication via satellite transmission; support complex systems installations and startup at customer sites
Monitor iDirect TDMA equipment configurations and network performance, in real time, and report conditions and anomalies to the designated Team Lead
Prepare reports on network utilization, performance and activity as required
Open and track trouble tickets via Remedy as required to resolve network or remote terminal issues
Analyze and resolve end-user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate manner and provide end-user training where required
Monitor and test satellite network performance and provide satellite network performance statistics and reports

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Continuously monitor network and space segment performance to provide customer tier 1 support as required
Monitor and report on the quality of user Full Motion Video (FMV)
Support and escalate user network issues to appropriate offices
Track and manage automated service interruptions for the network users' awareness, ensuring minimal downtime
Resolve customer issues related to broadband IP communication via satellite transmission; support complex systems installations and startup at customer sites, including configuring satellite modems and routers
Monitor ViaSat equipment configurations and network performance in real time, and report conditions and anomalies to the designated team lead using satellite network monitoring software
Monitor FMV downlink equipment for nominal operations and report any anomalies to the designated team lead
Support user access and troubleshoot ViaSat KuSS and KaSS remotes, including configuring and maintaining satellite terminals and associated RF equipment
Prepare detailed reports on satellite network utilization, performance, and activity as required, using data analytics tools to interpret satellite network metrics
Open and track trouble tickets as required to resolve network or terminal issues
Isolate and correct network faults using network management tools (ViaSat SAM/NMS), including diagnosing issues with satellite links, transponders, and ground station equipment
Manage service restoration activities and track/update the trouble ticketing system (Remedy)
Provide status reports to customers and management personnel, detailing satellite network performance and any ongoing issues
Provide testing and implementation support of new software releases for deployed network equipment
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues resulting from installation, software and hardware upgrades, configuration changes, equipment integration, or testing
Maintain timely and accurate helpdesk records using the ticket management system
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
2+ years of SATCOM-related experience
Experience with TCP/IP, networking concepts, and SATCOM/RF concepts, including knowledge of satellite link budgets, modulation schemes, and frequency planning
Knowledge of satellite network troubleshooting and support principles, including diagnosing issues with satellite modems, transponders, and ground station equipment
Familiarity with satellite communication facilities, platforms, operating systems, applications, security methods, and satellite network management tools
Understanding of satellite network design, installation, management, and support technologies, including experience with satellite earth stations and VSAT systems

THE ROLE The Maintenance Technician will help with the overall maintenance, repair, upgrades, and improvements of our greenhouse and food packaging facilities. This role will perform regular maintenance and repairs of the greenhouse structure, production, manufacturing equipment, plumbing-PVC, packaging equipment and general housekeeping of the building. This is a hands-on role requiring basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a focus on irrigation systems, greenhouse maintenance, and the installation and repair of production equipment. This role will work under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
* Conduct maintenance and repairs to the building and all company equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks for the building and production equipment (HVAC, freezers, exhaust fans, pumps, plumbing, fixtures, and systems)
* Comply with State and Federal Regulations, Environmental, OSHA and company safety programs

THE ROLE The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for corrective and preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, inspection, and improvements of the Companys greenhouse facilities and agricultural systems. The position requires performing regular, routine maintenance and repairs of the greenhouse structure, growing machines, sophisticated HVAC temperature control system, automation and electrical systems, and irrigation and plumbing systems. The technician is tasked with identifying system deficiencies and ensuring the optimal performance of the greenhouse structure and related growing systems and equipment.
This is a hands-on role requiring technical and applied knowledge of integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a strong focus on irrigation systems, growing machines and automation, and greenhouse HVAC requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to perform preventative services, dismantle and rebuild portions of the system to perform corrective repairs. The ideal candidate will possess the keen ability to identify and address maintenance and mechanical failures in each of the greenhouse systems as well as structural deficiencies.
Prior experience with greenhouse, agricultural, farming, or the organic food industry is considered a plus, but not required. WHAT YOU'LL DO

This position is responsible for performing troubleshoot, preventive/predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance, to ensure safe and efficient operation of production and facility equipment. The technician supports continuous improvement initiatives and complies with all HSE and quality regulations.
Core Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
* Perform duties to install, troubleshooting and maintain production/facility assets.
* Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and performs scheduled maintenance tasks.
* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
* Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
* Comply with the WO daily/weekly schedule assigned.
* Provide technical expertise in root cause analysis, HSE investigations and asset reliability.
* Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
* Comply with HSE regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
* Support the execution, handover and commissioning of CapEx projects.
* Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
Required Qualifications:
* Diploma, degree, or license in some form of industrial maintenance.
* 3 years or more in the field, manufacturing or production preferred.
* Familiarity with industrial HSE standards and codes (NFPA 70E, Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout).
* Experience with CMMS.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Demands:
* Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day
* Must be able to lift/move up to 75 pounds occasionally
* Must be able to work at heights up to 40 feet.

* Must be able to wear PPE such as safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators.
* Must be able to be forklift certifiable.
* Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays.
* Must be able to take call, including after shift hours, weekends and holidays.
Work Environment:
* Plant/production environment.
* Frequent exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.
* Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
