Your Role at KIK
Are you ready to be at the heart of our production process? As a Packaging Technician, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our products are expertly packaged and ready for delivery. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of our machinery, conducting thorough inspections, and swiftly addressing any equipment issues. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, you'll help uphold our reputation for excellence. This position has an hourly rate of $19.00 per hour. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 3:40 pm, there is some overtime available on occasion.
What You'll Be Doing
Lifts and carries bundles of corrugated bulk containers filled with plastic bottles, assembles them into box groups, wraps them with twine.
Checks plastic bottles for defects, such as holes, lines in the bottle, or water spots. If bottles aren't defective, pack them into a box.
Watches automated machines so no jam ups happen.
Informs supervisor of any bad bottles or machine malfunctions.
Keeps conveyor belts empty of bottles.
Operates a bagger machine as needed.
Inform proper personnel when more raw materials are needed.
Properly mark boxes or bags with the date and shift they were run on; each shift uses a different color marker.
Assists in department inventory and performs basic record keeping duties.

shift Machine Operator (Monday-Friday with OT as needed 5:00am-3:30pm), where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. What You'll Be Doing
Operate various high speed liquid filling machinery including but not limited to fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, depalletizes case erectors, and heat induction sealers case erectors, etc.
Examine and act on production orders to determine quantities to be manufactured, job specifications and or special instructions.
Maintain time and production records.
Maintain quality standards.
Conduct basic troubleshooting on the assigned equipment and perform minor equipment adjustments and changeovers.
Follow Safety /GMP guidelines.
Comply with PPE, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
1-2 years' experience as a Machine operator in the packaging industry.
Production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred.
Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.
Basic mathematics skills required.
Must be able to take direction and work unsupervised.

Purpose

Essential Duties
Procedures & Tasks
Supporting the Lead and Supervisor of Packaging to package dried cannabis product appropriately. Fulfilling daily and weekly objectives that have been instructed and trained by Supervisorership, such as, packaging pre-pack and shelf flower product, creating and packaging joints and blunts, confirming the accuracy of the packaging, and assisting with order fulfillment for product exporting.
Operating with equipment and machinery to package dried cannabis product as instructed and trained, safely. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment and machinery to sustain longevity and performance.
Executing objectives to achieve desired quality and consistently throughout assignment.
Organization and reporting data entries to spreadsheets and log as instructed. Ensuring accurate and legible logging of a variety of spreadsheets and labels.
Properly achieving packaging objectives to maintain quotas based on instruction from leadership. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas.
Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Post Harvest dept tasks, Production dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Training Requirements
This position will follow the direction and training by the Supervisors of Packaging and Manager of Packaging assigned to the Lothian, MD cultivation facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliant.
Training towards PharmaCann's mission statement and leadership development.
Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations.
Workspace and Material Maintenance
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment (scissors,
table, floors etc.).
Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the Processing department areas. Contribute and show support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.
Compliance and Reporting
This role involves final packaging checks to ensure product leaving the facility is compliant. Follow company instructions to ensure accuracy consistently within the role.
Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the Supervisorership of the department.
Reporting data input as instructed for METRC plant tags.
Supervision
Works under the direct supervision of the Supervisors of Packaging and Manager of Packaging.

Basic Qualifications:
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
10+ years of experience in IC packaging development and NPI for high-speed SerDes and high-performance SoCs, ASICs, or memory products
Deep hands-on expertise with FCBGA, fc CSP, co-packaged optics (CPO), and 2.5D/3D integration technologies such as CoWoS, RDL and silicon interposers, and chiplet-based architectures (e.g., BoW, UCIe); along with experience in fan-out wafer-level packaging (FOWLP/WLFO).
Strong understanding of packaging material selection, substrate stack-up, bump/RDL design, and DFM for advanced nodes

Position Summary:
As a Packager, you play a critical role in the final stages of product preparation. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient assembly, weighing, sealing, and labeling of various cannabis products, maintaining the highest standards of quality control throughout the packaging process. Essential Functions:

Properly achieving packaging objectives to maintain quotas based on instruction from leadership. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas.

Summary

Job Summary
The technicians are for executing extraction, infusion, processing, and packaging plans in keeping with the Company's operating procedures for cannabis production. Technicians conduct the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the cannabis production cycle, including packaging, and labeling of cannabis for our customer.
Lab: Learns the extraction processes to facilitate and drive distillate and concentrate production. The technician will perform a broad range of duties related to day-to-day operations and production of oil. That includes preparation and extraction of plant material, the preparation of solutions, supplies, materials, and equipment, cleaning & maintenance of equipment and facilities proper and safe use of equipment and materials.
Kitchen: Responsible for having the basic knowledge of all daily operations in an edible and cannabis infused kitchen. Assisting in the preparing food items and other culinary activities as directed by the kitchen manager. Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment and operating all equipment safely in its intended manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
Packaging: Operating and maintaining kitchen and packaging systems/equipment: monitoring, calibrating, running, and troubleshooting systems; stocking and handling production inputs and supplies; sanitizing and cleaning production areas, kitchen workspaces and tools.
Ensure daily QA/QC compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to, state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols.
Other duties as required or needed to assist company in meeting goals

The person in this position may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree.

As a Core Operations Technician (COT), you'll be one of the most trusted eyes and ears on the ground. * Serve as a safety-first responder with a strong understanding of how the data center should operate, particularly in relation to critical cooling and electrical systems. During operational events, identify issues and intervene safely and effectively when systems are not functioning as intended.

Your Experience and Qualifications
* 2-7 years of experience of working in a critical facility, not necessarily a data center.
* Given the nature of our work, technical expertise-particularly in fields such as mechanical, electrical, automation, HVAC, plumbing, or manufacturing-is highly valued and closely aligned with day-to-day responsibilities.
* An empathetic person who enjoys working as part of a team.
* Basic written and verbal communication skills.

* Knowledge of NFPA70E, forklift, OSHA10, and/or First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.
