Your Role at KIK The Blow Mold Daylight Packer is responsible for inspecting and packing plastic bottles, monitoring automated equipment to prevent jams, and reporting any defects or machine issues. The role supports smooth production flow by keeping lines clear, labeling finished goods accurately, assisting with inventory counts, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for each shift. This role is based on site at our Mars, PA facility with the hours of 11:30 PM to 7:40 AM, Monday to Friday. The pay range for this position is $21/hr. Position Summary The Jack Driver is responsible for moving product in and out of the coolers/freezers and to different areas in the plant with an electric/manual jack. This role will be responsible for performing daily maintenance tasks and special projects. Repairs, installs, and adjusts machinery and equipment, performing parts replacement, routine and preventative maintenance. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ability to read and understand English and can identify items on paperwork. Can communicate verbally with supervisors and associates. Must have the ability to be trained to use an electric jack safely. Must have the ability to work overtime as needed. Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded & transported to the necessary area. Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment. Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment: Stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested. Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary. Report quality variances. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Additional Duties and Responsibilities Constant walking throughout the plant picking and delivering products. Must be able to occasionally lift to 50 lbs. Work Environment: Required to access the poultry production environment. Must be able to tolerate the varying heat, wet, and chill of the plant. Essential Job Functions • Place empty bottles onto moving conveyor belts. • Place sprayers into bottles moving on conveyor belts • Pack completed bottles of product into boxes. • Place hangtags, sleeves or other promotional items on bottles moving on a conveyor belt. • Clean labels or product off bottles. • Empty bottles of product. • Pack into shipper's final products • Use L-Bar machine after training when necessary • Dump empty bottles out of boxes into hoppers/elevators • Be responsible for the final quality of every unit that is placed into a customer's shipper. If unsure of the quality standard required, there is a responsibility to check with the Team Leader before packing questionable product. • Be responsible for the safety and housekeeping in the immediate work area. Help to clean up if the packing line stops for any period. The Packaging Associate is an entry-level position and is responsible for fully support and contributing to the efforts of the packaging team as it executes the daily packaging needs and goals. This includes working on all facets of packaging as needed; canning, kegging and warehousing. This position will primarily be based at the Hardywood West Creek facility with potential shifts and duties at the Hardywood Richmond facility. This position has an opportunity to grow into a Packaging Specialist I, II and III, gradually becoming more involved in the operation of the canning line, kegging equipment and process and warehousing. This position reports to the Packaging Manager. Responsibilities Follow company safety procedures and identify opportunities to ensure the safest working environment possible. Packaging of cans and cartons coming off the can line. Ensure quality packaging of all cans and kegs and associated packaging materials and labeling. Cleaning and sanitizing kegs needed for meeting production needs. Taping of boxes once completely packaged. Wrapping and placing completed pallets into bonded inventory based on Logistics Coordinator's needs and preferences. Assist in inventory management as needed Help in the brewery as needed. General cleaning of packaging and production area. Breaking down boxes and discarding them as needed. Requirements Qualifications High School graduate.
