This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
Responsible for accurate and timely data entry from multiple sources in a manner consistent with organizational standards and database maintenance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data
Responsible for maintaining the sales database including customized reporting, data integrity, data processing, prospect data analysis and assignment of leads to the appropriate sales representative
Responsible for the re-assignment of leads when necessary based on applied business rules
Perform other data entry and sales database related projects as instructed
Serve as a resource on the producer support line to ensure a positive producer experience with Peoples Health
Coordination of Peoples Health and compliance training for the external producers to ensure training deadlines are met, proper maintenance of records, and provides regular status reports to the Director of Sales Operations and the General Agency Managers
Daily management of the external producers, addressing issues regarding onboarding to sell Peoples Health plans and is the liaison for contract coordination for new producers
Works with UHC’s Agent Lifecycle Management department to ensure new producers onboarding with Peoples Health are appointed with the Louisiana Department of Insurance
Track and ensure all producers selling Peoples Health plans have current Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance as required by the Louisiana Department of Insurance
Complete additional projects as assigned by the Director of Sales Operations

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
3+ years of customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word (create / edit docs), Microsoft Excel (create / edit spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (email / calendar)
The ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours with the potential to work occasional overtime or weekends depending on business need

Associates degree (or higher) in business, marketing, communications or related field preferred
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage and CMS Marketing Guidelines preferred
Health insurance license preferred, or must obtain within one year of hire
Ability to learn internal technology tools/systems
Problem solving skills
Ability to navigate a complex organization to accomplish customer satisfaction
Strong team player
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate ability to be a self-starter
Demonstrate ability to be collaborative with sales team and outside vendors
