Responsibilities
The candidate will develop concepts as well as work on preliminary engineering and final design for projects
This would include developing geometric alignments, profiles, surface modeling, cross sections, grading design, drainage, superelevation, construction details, work zone traffic control, erosion control, and signing and striping plans
This person will develop technical drawings and plans using CAD software
The person in this position will make and quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity and may perform some multifaceted calculations
Requires minimal supervision to perform day to day tasks
Has knowledge of engineering principles and suggests design changes
Maintains drawing database
May supervise and train CAD staff
Coordinates work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control
Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
3+ years of relevant experience
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products

This position will support a variety Dam Safety Engineering projects across the East Region. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with demonstrated coursework in Geotechnical Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in at least one state with the ability to successfully apply for reciprocity in additional states.
Relevant experience with dams and other hydraulic structures, including rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Geologist II to be based in our Atlanta, Georgia office. This position will support our Remediation team within our Environment business line. This position is expected to begin immediately.
The Geologist II will serve as a team member in the field and the office, assisting project and program management with implementation of soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water investigative and remediation programs, data analysis, and report preparation.
This is a field-based role comprising approximately 75% fieldwork and 25% office-based work. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about environmental investigation and remediation and will join a large established team conducting environmental assessment and remediation projects.
This position requires excellent written and spoken communication skills, organizational and time management skills, flexibility to work on a range of projects, and a positive attitude. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and have the ability to work both independently and as a part of a project team.
Please take note this role will require travel outside of the Atlanta Metropolitan area (from days to weeks) to support projects as needed across the region and the United States.

Utilizing various techniques to generate data from remedial or investigative field work. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and planning projects. Projects emphasis includes park, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for planning on public and private sector projects. Ability to work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction.

Knowledgeable in the production of CD sets including GDOT, hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.

Well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated.
Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously.

Landscape Architect Project Manager Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
Florida registration as a Professional Landscape Architect, or the ability to acquire registration within a year period.
5 years of experience demonstrating leadership skills, minimum, as a Professional Landscape Architect.
Familiarity preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submitting.
Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs.

Kimley-Horn is looking for Engineering students to join our Atlanta Midtown, Georgia (GA) office! This is not a remote position. **Responsibilities** + Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
+ Contribute to the pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope.
+ Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.
+ Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn's and our client's practices, procedures, and standards.
+ Interns will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS
**Qualifications**
+ In the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in one of the following majors:
+ Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
+ Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
+ Engineering Technology
