    The Contract Administrator position is responsible for supporting the Commercial Team regarding contract management. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Create contract documents (such as service agreements, confidentiality agreements, amendments, notices, and similar documents) using an in-house contract administration system which involves selecting a form, entering contract data, and selecting pre-defined options for standardization.Initiate workflows on contract documents, obtain approvals, and monitor progress.Review contract changes, analyze risk, and assist in redline negotiations.Work closely with in-house counsel and other departments (such as real estate, credit, and finance) to handle customer questions and/or proposed edits as needed.Understand signing authority levels and coordinate contract execution by obtaining appropriate signatures from both Kinder Morgan and the customer.Maintain copies of all designated customer contracts, ensuring that executed customer contracts are distributed and scanned into the appropriate database(s) and/or shared filing/information system(s).Assist in tracking renewals, upcoming end dates and notice dates.· Work closely with accounting and business process groups to set up new customer entities and review escalations.Develop and maintain standard handling rate sheets for each Terminal, updating as needed and directed by the Commercial Team.Analyze risk in legacy contracts to ensure compliance and update forms as needed.Similarly, manage and maintain other agreements not specific to a customer such as port and real estate leases.Work closely with and act as a resource to Commercial Account Managers and Operations/Commercial team members.Participate in weekly sales calls and provide updates on contract documents and outstanding legal items.Assist the commercial team in drafting correspondence related to accounts receivable.All other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements: Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in legal, business administration, marketing, finance, economics, or a related field is required. A Juris Doctor degree is preferred but not required. Experience / specific knowledge:Advanced computer skills with all Microsoft office products and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe PDF, Teams, and Excel. Familiarity with general information/electronic signature systems (such as Salesforce and DocuSign) is a plus.A minimum of two (2) years' contract management/legal experience is preferred, but not a requirement Basic knowledge of the energy industry and/or dry/liquid bulk storage facilities is a benefit, but not a requirement Knowledgeable in contract terminology and concepts. About the Role We are seeking a Contract Execution Manager to serve as the customer-facing liaison for large, custom-engineered, power transformer manufacturing projects.
