This position is also responsible for identifying, analyzing, investigating and reporting to management on a timely basis variances and/or other accounting discrepancies which may affect company finances. In addition, the position is responsible for initiating revisions to applicable departmental policies and procedures. Further, the position will interface extensively with internal and external contacts including, but not limited to, management, operations, engineering, and business development, along with customer/shipper personnel.
