The successful candidate will serve a vital role in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all aspects of the field with emphasis on Producing wells and its facilities. The SACROC and LDMU Production Fields employ over 600 wells used for oil and gas production. The Production systems consist of Separation facilities for Oil, Water and Gas measurement to include miscellaneous pumps and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for general oversight of a portion of the SACROC Field and the LDMU assets. Essential duties and responsibilities: Provide supervisory leadership to subordinates and develop employees for advancement.Provide technical and safety leadership to the Production group.Prepares reliability plans for critical equipment systems.Monitor Production rates, relays all declines and operational issues to the Production Superintendent.Recognize and promote ideas that provide safer, more efficient and cost-effective operation, making sure that operating costs are consistent with budgetary constraints.Support and work with outside groups such Well Workover/Completion, Reservoir Surveillance and Construction Groups.Prepare the operating budget on an annual basis and monitor budgetary performance throughout the year.
