Job Summary: The Sales Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for potential projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring that all estimates are completed in a timely manner to support the sales team in securing new business.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare project cost estimates using established templates, procedures, and under direct supervision.
Collect and input data for estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to provided guidelines.
Review project specifications and drawings to identify scope, referring complex or ambiguous issues to the Project Estimator or manager.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, following standard protocols.
Assist the sales team with proposal preparation and bid packages, focusing on administrative and support tasks.
Maintain and update the estimate and pricing database, ensuring records are current and organized.
Communicate with clients to clarify straightforward project requirements, escalating complex inquiries.
Participate in project handover meetings to support the transition from sales to operations.
Perform other duties as assigned, within the scope of established procedures and with limited discretion.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating or a related support role.
Familiarity with construction methods and materials; able to follow established procedures and templates.
Proficiency with basic estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities; able to work collaboratively under supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines within defined parameters.
Limited discretion; refers complex or ambiguous issues to Project Estimator or manager.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions.

Qualifications:

Position Summary

This role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments focused on separation techniques used in biological and chemical research. The Research Analyst independently generates precise, reliable and reproducible data in a timely manner. Demonstrate experimental precision and strong data interpretation skills and should possess understanding of core discipline.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine tasks independently and generate reliable and consistent results.
Analyze and critique results, noting significant deviations.
Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation.
Learn and understand new experimental techniques.
Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of research programs.
Present interpreted results and updates internally in a timely and professional manner
Place data in proper scientific context by consulting and citing relevant literature.
Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, and GxP compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Biochemistry/Biophysics, Chemistry, or equivalent, with typically 3 years' experience
Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out method development and qualification.
Experience in separation-based assays including but not limited to UPLC/HPLC based methods, capillary electrophoresis (CE), and imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (ic IEF)

We are looking for a Structures Project Engineer interested in heavy civil construction with 2 to 5 years' experience to join the team on our Tim Bell Road Bridge Replacement Project in Stanislaus County.
Myers and Sons has been contracted for a structural project to remove and reconstruct the existing Tim Bell Road Bridge over Dry Creek. The project consists of replacing the existing historical bridge with a combination of a flat slab bridge and parabolic box girder. Work includes large diameter CIDH pile, falsework, trestle and bridge post tensioning. The project is expected to be completed over the course of two seasons.
We are looking for a person that can develop a deep understanding of the project documents, including the contract with the owner, subcontracts, cost reports, CPM schedules, specifications, project deliverable documents, correspondence, billings, and related project controls items. This person should feel comfortable navigating and working within accounting and project documentation software such as Vista and be detailed oriented. In addition to office tasks, this person will work closely with the project superintendent to develop and execute work plans and perform construction layout using AutoCAD and Lecia surveying equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Work On Site to help solve problems that occur during construction
Working within Vista to manage documents
Maintain thorough understanding of the contract with the Owner
Monitor and report project progress
Field work: construction layout, developing grades, and work plans for self-performed work
Review and approve project invoices
Document control such as submittals, RFI's and Change Orders
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management or Engineering preferred
2 - 5 Years of Experience in highway civil or structures construction projects in California.
Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and self-perform work

Preferred Qualifications:
