The Quality AssuranceTechnician I is an entry level QA Technician position working under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor. The critical technical functions of the position are to perform routine QA functions as assigned by the QA Supervisor, and act a liaison between departments such as manufacturing, engineering, etc. Employees in this position may interact with a supervisor daily to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require a supervisor's advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine food safety and quality assurance functions.
Perform verification audits for food safety & pre-requisite programs.
Perform laboratory tests for raw materials and finished products, which include Moisture, pH/TTA, Brix, Colors, Texture, Sensory, etc.
Conduct product sensory evaluation.
Initiate quality holds.
Assist the SQF Practitioner to verify SQF certification compliance and to prepare for certification audit, which include registries audit, food security evaluation, SQF training, etc.
Assist with investigations related to food safety and quality issues.
Report issues/non-conformances and investigation results to the QA Supervisor/Shift Lead/QA Technologists.
Participate in departmental and cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
Train operations personnel on food safety and quality programs.
Perform CCP verifications.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
Required - High school diploma, or GED equivalent
Required - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English
Required - Ability to write routine quality assurance reports and correspondence in English
Required - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Preferred - Minimum 1 year of experience in food/beverage manufacturing (FDA or USDA), baking experience highly preferred
Preferred - Associate's degree from an accredited institution in progress
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)
Developing verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in English / Spanish is a plus.

Position Summary: The
Production Technician
will be involved in all activities related to a goal-directed Shift Team, to achieve CSC goals and highest standards of Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, Cost and Production during his/her shift, with a particular responsibility for general team support. Achieve conformance to production goals, product quality and cost

Experience: Minimum 1 years working experience in Mechanical parts / Assemblies inspection
Skills:
Ability to read and understand the part and assembly drawings
Ability to perform the dimensional and visual inspection per the drawings
Knowledge of industry standard workmanship requirements IPC-A-610 is preferred
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Ability to use digital calipers, pin gauges and multimeter
Able to lift 50 lb. weight as needed
Basic computer skills for Excel and Outlook

SUMMARY: The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing comprehensive inspections across a range of characteristics-visual, dimensional, and documentation-based-to verify conformance to engineering drawings, internal specifications, and customer requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform visual, physical, and dimensional inspections of mechanical components and assemblies at various stages of the manufacturing process (first article, in-process, final).
Inspect both attribute (e.g., visual defects, surface finish) and variable (e.g., exact dimensional measurements) characteristics per technical documentation.
Use a wide range of precision measurement instruments including micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), as required.
Verify completeness and accuracy of documentation packages including inspection records, material certifications, special process certifications, and work travelers.
Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements with moderate supervision.
Document inspection results clearly and accurately in accordance with internal procedures and applicable standards (e.g., AS9100).
Identify, document, and escalate nonconformities, support quality team in root cause investigation and corrective action implementation.
Assist in calibration verification of inspection tools and gages as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; actively participate in quality and safety improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
