Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and Supervisor, the QA Technician acts as a liaison between departments such as manufacturing, engineering, etc. The individual must have a quality conscious attitude with emphasis towards a teamwork approach to a accomplish project goals and implement solutions to problems. The individual will work independently, be able to multitask, detail oriented, and have good decision making skills based on the quality process from the beginning of manufacturing to the end.
Advises the QA Management and site management of the issues in a timely manner.
Evaluates incoming ingredients, work in process products, and finished goods.
Performs flour testing, sifting, and shelf life testing.
Test samples for pH, TTA, moisture %, and color
Places items on hold that does not meet the specification such as incoming material, work in process, and or finished goods. Presents reasons for retention and recommends possible solution to the issue.
Inspects and calibrates equipment used in the lab. Report non-compliance findings and recommends next step solutions to the QA Manager and site management in a timely manner.
Complies with and enforces GLPs (Good Laboratory Practices), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), and other employee safety and food safety and quality programs throughout the manufacturing site.
Validate the metal detector SOP is being practice
Ability to review, interpret, verify, and summarize data collected from other departments. Reports any deficiencies to QA Management in a timely manner.
Collect and analyze samples accordingly to Quality Assurance Procedures at specified frequency, ensuring results are within specified ranges and completed/recorded in a timely manner.
Assure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all operations and processes.
Actively participate to assure cross-functional issues are resolved and site concerns are addressed.
Organizes and files processing records.
Prepares samples for outside laboratory testing, evaluates, and interpret results to give to recommendations.
Assists QA Technologist and/or QA Supervisor on various projects.
Responsible for CCP verifications
Responsible for Quality and Food Safety functions as assigned and outlined in Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program.
Responsible for reporting all quality and food safety concerns/issues to QA
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
College experience is preferred
3 + years of QA/QC experience in the field
Possess good verbal and written communication skills
Be able to take on projects with minimum supervision, complete tasks in a proficient manner, and work as a team
Experience in testing and evaluation of finished products
Able to multi-task, and have a strong work ethic and detail orientation

The Quality Assurance Technician I is an entry level QA Technician position working under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Supervisor. The critical technical functions of the position are to perform routine QA functions as assigned by the QA Supervisor, and act a liaison between departments such as manufacturing, engineering, etc.

What is my role?
The Supervisor, Product Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing all aspects of product quality and compliance across inbound shipments within the distribution center (DC) operations. This role ensures product quality standards are met through audits, documentation, and close communication with factories, customers, and internal teams. What You'll Do
Product Quality Control & Oversight
Ensure finished goods are manufactured in accordance with the product specifications (measurements, fabric, trims and packing) and the quality of the workmanship meets all specified standards.
Manage relationships with overseas factories to ensure all allocated orders are manufactured as per our Quality standards.
Work closely with overseas mills and sewing factories, sourcing/production team, and other cross functional areas to continually escalate quality.
Maintain QC records of pass/fail results and track performance, review factory scorecards and performance metrics, recommend corrective actions, and submit findings to the chargeback support team.
Review and stay current with customers' QA manuals and quality standards. Communicate updates to factories and QC teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements
Conduct QC audits at the Distribution Center and spot audits for specific customers as required; ensure audit findings are accurately documented and reported
Partner with four team leaders and China QC personnel to maintain consistent product standards
Inbound Quality & Compliance
Ensure inbound shipments meet quality, compliance, and documentation standards
Support the inbound compliance chargeback initiative and program
Monitor vendor compliance and partner with stakeholders to reduce noncompliance issues
Communicate with overseas and domestic factories regarding quality findings and follow up with best practices and methods to correct issues.
Drive continuous improvement and behavior change in supplier and shipment quality practices
Interact with cross-functional teams in order to achieve continued focus and improvement in the quality and safety of our products.
Leadership & Collaboration
Develop, coach, and support QC team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output
Serve as a liaison between domestic DC operations and the offshore (China) quality teams.
Work together with our Domestic and Import Production teams and CSR team in the development and implementation on continual training, evaluation and improvement of our QA Team local and overseas.

What You'll Need
5-7 years' experience in apparel quality management. Experience must also include at least 2 years of product safety.

Please note, this role is onsite five days a week, Monday through Friday, 7-4 or 8-5 pm.
Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our daily manufacturing operations. This role helps ensure every product meets our quality standards by supporting the systems that keep our output consistent for customers. The Quality Technician will work closely with on-site Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to identify issues, assist with corrective actions, and reduce variation in our processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining reliable, repeatable production and ensuring compliance with both customer and internal standards.
What You'll Do:
Perform routine quality checks, measurements, and visual inspections to ensure products create exceptional experiences for our customers
Support on-site manufacturing quality process control activities and maintain accurate documentation
Assist in maintaining quality records, equipment logs, and inspection documentation to support consistent production and compliance
Work directly with local Production, QA, and Engineering teams to provide data and observations during root cause analysis (RCA/CAPA) efforts
Monitor visual and dimensional product characteristics, especially color consistency, and promptly communicate discrepancies to supervisors
Collect, organize, and report quality and process data for trend analysis and continuous improvement
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience in quality
0-1 years of experience in a production, quality, or manufacturing support role
Working knowledge of basic quality tools (control charts, check sheets, 5 Whys, basic FMEA concepts)
Ability to perform accurate measurements, visual inspections, and data collection
Proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel and basic data analysis techniques

As an SMT QC Inspector at Rocket EMS, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our high-reliability PCB assemblies adhere to the strictest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting first article inspections, performing in-process audits, and monitoring production quality along the SMT line. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, a solid understanding of IPC standards, and the decisiveness to halt production when quality is jeopardized.
Responsibilities
Review job documentation (MPI, Deviations, ECOs, and Customer Requirements) prior to inspection.
Conduct SMT First Article Inspections and verify compliance with IPC-A-610 (Class 2 and 3) and customer standards.
Monitor throughput and quality on assigned lines; halt production if significant defects are identified and escalate issues promptly.
Provide daily quality pass-down reports and keep leads/supervisors informed about inspection outcomes.
Initiate and review Technical Inquiries for discrepancies; ensure no jobs commence without proper authorization.
Assist in addressing bottleneck areas as directed by Supervisor, Engineer, or Manager.
Escalate unresolved issues to the Quality Manager.
Adhere to and enforce all procedures related to ESD, MSD handling, housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and inspection protocols.
Propose and support continuous process and quality improvements.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience
Minimum of 2 years in an electronics inspection role within a contract manufacturing or similar environment.
IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification (required).
Skills
Strong understanding of IPC workmanship standards (Class 2 and 3).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and BOMs.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with the capability to accurately identify and classify defects.
