Job Description: The Pipe welder performs installation and repair duties in commercial or public buildings.
Qualifications and Duties:
* Five years experience in the piping/welding field.
* Should be able to read and interpret drawings and P&ID schematics.
* Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
* Pipe Fitting experience preparing large bore weld pipe.
* Must be knowledgeable of all fitting take-outs for screw and weld fittings.
* Must be experienced with carbon steel piping, stainless steel piping, stainless steel tubing, PVC, Copper, and weld pipe.
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
* Must have essential hand tools expected for trade.
* Must be dependable and a team player.
* Ability to work without direct supervision.
* Must be able to pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history).
