Key Responsibilities
Supervision of Ultrasound staff
Coordinates the work assigned to each area and monitors the work of the staff: Develops and assigns daily schedule of assigned personnel and ensures accurate record keeping.
Observes and assists technical and ancillary staff in the performance of job duties, including providing suggestions for improved work efficiency and quality.
Performs preparation of control and quality control and assessment tasks (QA/QC).
Ensures the department delivers quality services, in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards, to support operational excellence.
Serves as the Clinical Coordinator for Ultrasound students.
Evaluation and Implementation of Appropriate Care
After reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient's abilities and condition, selects the most appropriate patient care plan.
Uses professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes.
Evaluates lab values prior to performing any interventional procedure.
Able to recognize significant clinical information and historical facts, from the patient and from the medical record, which may impact the examination.
Assesses factors that may contraindicate the procedure, such as medications or insufficient patient preparation.
Reconfirms patient identification using two unique identifiers (Name and DOB) and verifies procedure requested. Verifies female patient pregnancy status when appropriate.
Monitors patient and equipment during procedures, accurately documents exam times (start and stop), patient reactions or problems, and reports concerns or issues immediately to supervisor.
Documents patient and exam occurrences in the appropriate Imaging software database, to include exam start and complete times.
Performs such exams as abdominal, renal, aorta, thyroid, pelvic, obstetrical, bio-physical profiles, vascular studies, testicular and breasts, color flow studies, Doppler studies, renal biopsies, and fluid collections of localized areas. Takes representative anatomical pictures, recognizes normal versus abnormal anatomy, and exhibits knowledge of various pathological processes.
Has thorough knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area of imaging.
Quality of Care
The technologist provides evidence-based care to prevent the development of a Healthcare Acquired Condition and hospital readmissions.
The technologist practices standard precautions during patient contact and while handling contaminated materials.
The technologist complies with CDC hand hygiene guidelines and works to reduce hospital acquired infections and other conditions.
Comply with all regulatory, organizational, and departmental statutes, policies, and procedures.
Patient Satisfaction
Regularly applies AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) as well as other evidence-based behaviors when taking care of patients. Shows empathy care to patients and family members present.
Actively helps the department meet the identified Patient Satisfaction goal.

Qualifications

Certification

Preferences

As part of the Opioid State Targeted Response Grant, the Outreach Specialist works in the community to increase access to Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) treatment and prevention activities in order to reduce the prevalence of OUDs and opioid-related overdose deaths. Working collaboratively with other community stakeholders, the Outreach Specialist provides peer outreach to identified Northern Arizona County residents to improve access to, participation in and retention in evidence based practices. Guidance and direction is provided by the Regional Program Manager.
Essential Duties
Engage community members including homeless individuals and veterans to participate in treatment, particularly Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), for opioid use disorder.
Engage and assist individuals re-entering the community from the criminal justice and crisis systems to participate in treatment for opioid use disorder.
Provide outreach in the community to educate and assist community members and stakeholders with navigating the full continuum of care related to opioid misuse, abuse and dependency.
Assist individuals in enrolling for services and engaging in services including applying for Medicaid coverage as needed.
Collaborate with other grant recipients and community stakeholders to coordinate outreach efforts and support
May transport potential members to and from various appointments (within an agency vehicle), as appropriate.
Relates own recovery process in a positive and supportive manner through coaching, role modeling and mentoring in order to assist members in developing skills to achieve their goals.

Throughout the summer, interns will support the continuing operations of the plant alongside senior engineers, working hands-on with equipment such as distillation columns, adsorption beds, diaphragm compressors, gas distribution panels, instrumentation, and programmable logic controllers. In addition, interns will manage an independent plant expansion or productivity project with final presentation. Interns will perform engineering and project management work like creating designs in AutoCAD, sizing equipment, building parts lists, and maintaining a project schedule and budget. Interns will collaborate with project managers, process engineers, operations, procurement, safety, and other business groups.

Job Duties
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks. Rebuild internal combustion lift truck engines and other lift truck components such as electric motors (drive/pump/auxiliary), cylinders (tilt/lift/reach), brake systems, electrical systems, drive units, mast assemblies and frame weldments.
* Perform safety operational tests. Complete necessary repair paperwork.
* Perform pre-delivery inspections and repairs to new equipment. Make any necessary adjustments and handle warranty repairs.
* Add/remove attachments and accessories such as clamps/slips, sheets/side shifts, lights and audible devices as required. Also, handle any hydraulic or electrical adaptations.
* Process paperwork.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent is required.
* Read and know wiring diagrams, trouble shooting, use test meters, make decisions, basic math, reason, remember and analyze.
* Knowledge of basic computer functions
* Per 8-10 hour shift (stand 8 hrs., walk 1 hr., sit 1 hr.), frequently bend, stoop, push/pull, reach above shoulder level, frequently (lift/carry 0 to 50lbs., 51 to 100 lbs. with help). Must be able to see, talk, hear, have good binocular vision, distinguish colors, safety operate lift trucks. Must be able to use common hand tools. Possible exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, solvents, fuels, battery acid and noise pollution.

* 3-5 years of prior service experience preferred.
