Job Summary
Incumbent will work as part of a team to provide environmental services for a gold mining operation and ancillary facilities. Under the direction of the Environmental Manager or Superintendent, will ensure that company activities are conducted in accordance with company requirements and in compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations and licenses. Will conduct all activities in a safe manner and align performance and daily functions to reflect Kinross' values.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements
* A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related discipline (i.e. geology, biology, civil engineering).
* A minimum of 3 years work experience in environmental permitting or compliance.
* Applied knowledge of relevant federal, state and other regulatory requirements, as-well-as industry standards and practices.
* Experienced with system(s)/database(s) established to manage regulatory obligations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management, regulators/other governmental representatives.
