Supervises sales department employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Participates in preparation of annual hotel budget and oversees development and implementation of marketing plans and action plans, development of special promotions or packages, and ideas to build occupancy. Tracks activities of the competition and the market and the hotel's position in the market and communicate significant changes to General Manager and Director of Operations. Participates in industry and civic organizations to promote business opportunities. Leads hotel sales department meetings. Makes solicitation and service calls in person, through mail/email, and by telephone on assigned accounts to promote and sell hotel, banquet and restaurant facility space and services. Makes solicitation calls to potential new accounts. Responds to inquiries from customers, prospective clients and the corporate office. Prepare proposals and confirmations for group bookings, conducts tours of the property with prospective customers. Informs other departments of upcoming events and works with them to ensure proper planning throughout the property. Maintains and uses the accounts tracing system/database and customer account files to generate future business. Ensures proper use of all KHC computer systems. Follows company credit and deposit policies when booking business. Prepares sales reports and records sales calls and activities as required. Monitors guest satisfaction through follow-up surveys, thank you cards and calls. Meets and/or exceeds individual quantitative revenue and production goals set forth by the General Manager. Compliance with Human Resource policies and procedures as outlined in HR Administration & Operations Guide. Timely processing of invoices and follows all purchasing policies. KHC POLICIES: Responsible for following all KHC policies and procedures as set forth in the KHC handbook and property specific guidelines/standards. These policies include dress code, safety and performance standards. Employees must also maintain a professional image and report to work as scheduled. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises 1-4 employees in the Sales Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; monitoring and appraising work performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Essential Functions: 1. Maintains a caseload of approximately 8 children and families. 2. Contact enrolled children and families within 48 hours of enrollment, and set up initial visit to occur within 5 business days of enrollment to introduce self and supports available. 3. Schedule and attend weekly visits with assigned children and families, facilitate monthly Child and Family Team Meetings to discuss treatment planning, and maintain regular phone contact with assigned children and families and service providers as needed. 4. Assemble a Child and Family Team within two (2) weeks of enrollment by interviewing the family, identifying family members/natural supports/service providers and other significant persons. 5. Within the first 30 days, coordinates the meeting of the Child and Family Team and develops the initial individualized Plan of Care based on the identified strengths and needs, including a comprehensive 24-hour Crisis Plan. 6. Monitor the provision and quality of services provided to the family through the Child and Family Team and is the liaison when new services/resources need to be sought or developed. 7. Advocate for Children and Families across a variety of settings, including home, educational, court, and community settings, as needed. 8. Attend all scheduled court hearings as a representative of Wraparound Milwaukee to support children and families throughout the court process and explain supports available/in place. 9. Seek community resources with the assistance of the Team and modify the SAR whenever services or resources need to be added and/or deleted. 10. Provide or arrange for transportation for youth/young adults to appointments, crisis/respite services, including assisting a child and family with identifying natural supports and sustainable transportation plans, etc., if needed. 11. Provide or secure support and crisis/emergency services for youths enrolled and/or their families. This may be done through face-to-face contact, phone contact/ availability or an on-call system. 12. Completes all necessary paperwork in a strength-based manner per Wraparound Milwaukee/Agency requirements,(i.e., court letters, Plans of Care, change of placement forms, SARs, Referrals, Progress Notes, evaluation instruments, consent forms, etc.). 13. Maintain accurate information online, ensuring that family demographic information and Child and Family Team Member contact information is up to date. 14. Collaborate with other necessary individuals the youth and family may have contact with. 15. Keep Wraparound Milwaukee informed of all emergencies or critical incidents (refer to Wraparound Policy #14 - Critical Incident Reporting). Other Duties and Responsibilities: 1. This position works in a therapeutic milieu environment serving youth at a State Certified Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility (YCSF) serving male, female and gender non-conforming youth, ages 8-17, supporting youth through a mental health crisis that has resulted in a youth needing a safe space to reside for up to 30 days. The Youth Treatment Specialist 3rd shift works overnight ensuring all youth and staff are safe and following nighttime procedures. This can include tasks such as completing bed checks, monitoring youth on suicide protocol, following sleep hygiene and bedwetting protocols, waking youth, and coaching them to complete activities of daily living, administering medication teaching skills. Other tasks such as completing building tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and inventory, preparing meals, putting together educational materials, and other programming material to prepare for the days schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform third shift room checks verifying the status of each youth, ensuring youth are asleep, not distressed and are safe. Follow clinical recommendations for safety such as supervising suicide protocols and safety plans. Serve as a positive role model and work alongside a Lead Youth Treatment Specialist in the milieu supporting therapeutic interactions by coaching skill use throughout morning activities, modeling appropriate behavior, teaching, and reinforcing use and generalization of skills through a token economy system. Use evidence-based best practices for youth with mental health, substance use and life needs. This includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, youth centered, and culturally reverent approaches while celebrating youth's development and identity. Calmly and responsibly respond during crisis situations and intervene to de-escalate utilizing Principles of Stabilization and Control (POSC) for non-escalation, de-escalation, and possible physical intervention to maintain safety in the environment for youth and staff when preventing or responding to a crisis. Attend mandatory meetings including but not limited to staff meetings, new employee and ongoing trainings, individual supervision, team meetings, and other clinical staffing as required. Participate and meet the DHS34 clinical supervision requirements of one hour of supervision for every thirty hours of face-to-face contact. Use motivation and engagement strategies to encourage youth involved in systems to participate in treatment programming and involvement in program activities. Always provide active sight and sound supervision to youth and families with complex needs. Report any observed youth behavior for risk to self and others or behavioral changes within the treatment milieu.
