SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently seeking multiple personnel for our growing Civil site pipe crews based in North East, MD. Positions include General Laborers, Pipelayers, Pipe Foreman, and Equipment Operators. Successful candidates should possess a willingness to learn, have a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
GENERAL LABORER
Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
Use various hand and power tools
Assist with removal of fine grade stones along curb lines and sidewalks
Take and understand instructions from crew leaders
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures
Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
Demonstrates a working knowledge of all aspects of construction
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required
PIPELAYER
Installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
Align pipes in pipeline sections
Ensure subgrade and pipe are on grade and in line
Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment

PIPE FOREMAN
Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals
Supervise the installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment needed to complete the job
Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required for foremen position
Must possess knowledge of GPS systems
Ability to follow and enforce all correct safety procedures
Applicants should possess knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety
Minimum of 3 years' experience is required for the equipment operator position
Ability to work in a crew-based and fast-paced environment
Punctuality and dependability are required
Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions

SUMMARY
This position supports dredging and construction projects in all regions and specializes in precise positioning of equipment, and acquisition/processing of data in marine environments. Responsible for performing hydrographic surveys and maintaining positioning instrumentation on dredging vessels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Conduct hydrographic surveys in support of dredging, bridge construction, navigation, coastal works, port constructions, etc.
Install and maintain accuracy of instrumentation on company dredges and survey vessels.
Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project team and Owner representatives.
Sets up, adjusts, and operates survey equipment in order to measure distances, elevations, and angles.
Operates survey boats.
Safely launches, recovers and tows survey vessels.
Responsible for coordinating maintenance and repairs of survey vessels with equipment personnel.
Gathers survey data utilizing HYPACK/DREDGEPACK software.
Collects and processes data though the use of Real-Time Kinematic Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers and electronic tide gauges.
Performs complex surveying calculations using engineering calculator, laptop computer, and surveying software.
Demonstrate functional knowledge of survey industry standards and CAD products.
Possess average to above average computer skills.
Maintain log of daily activities.
Prepares field notes and drawings.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently seeking 3rd shift Plant Maintenance/Millwrights to join our growing team. Primary responsibilities include repairing plant equipment, preventative maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and performing other related duties as required. The Plant Maintenance/Millwrights will work on job plants in and around Hagerstown, MD. Normal work hours will be from 10:00pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Thursday.
Successful candidates should possess good mechanical skills, and be proficient at troubleshooting, updating, and repairing plant equipment.
The shift differential rate is $2.50 per hour.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Use basic hand tools.
Input information in work order system using a computer.
Perform basic welding and cutting torch as necessary.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently seeking concrete workers including form carpenters, rebar placement, concrete placement, and track hoe operators. Our work includes deep foundations, complicated machine foundations, quarry foundations and heavy industrial structural renovations. There is very little need for long days of finishing concrete, we do not do flatwork. However, concrete finishing experience is preferred.
Employees will be based out of Kinsley's Hagerstown, MD office but travel in the mid-Atlantic region for projects will be required. Kinsley will provide hotels and transportation for this required work-related travel. We pay the highest per diem rate in our market for meals and expenses.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Use and/or assist with instruments for precise layout
Perform and/or supervise excavation and backfill
Non CDL truck driving may be required
Perform formwork, placement of anchor bolts and placement of embeds
Perform placement of rebar

REQUIREMENTS

Analyze project costs monthly with Project Managers to prepare for financial closing and generate job cost reports.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking a driven and experienced General Superintendent for our growing Highway and Bridge team. The General Superintendent will primarily work on highway and bridge projects in the North East, MD area and Delmarva Peninsula. The General Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of resources required to successfully complete highway and bridge projects safely, on schedule and within budget. The General Superintendent manages manpower and equipment for the division. A full understanding of the construction process for highway and bridge projects is required.
A successful candidate should possess an applicable construction field experience, computer skills, good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Job Description:
The Design Engineer will draft and analyze temporary designs for bridge and infrastructure construction projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed CAD models of temporary structure designs and work plans, such as bridge erection, bridge demolition, concrete forming and temporary shoring/sheeting designs.
* Help develop and maintain electronic CAD file database of standard drawings, details and materials to be used.
* Make basic geometric computations to determine layout, strength of materials and requirements for structural design.
* Perform fundamental engineering computations for temporary construction elements design
* Perform field visit to do verify designs and collect information.
* Work and communicate effectively with external entities such as clients, owners, vendors, and consultants as well as internal entities such as other design engineers, the CAD department, and field personnel to develop safe, economic, and appropriate engineering solutions.
* Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering field.
* Engineer in Training (EIT) credentials are preferred.
* Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office software.
* Previous modeling and construction detailing experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Basic Knowledge and understanding of construction practices and constructability.

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Kinsley is seeking a driven and disciplined Project Engineer for our growing Highway & Bridge team. Based in Kinsley's North East, MD office, the PE will primarily work on highway and bridge projects in the North East, MD area and Delmarva Peninsula. The Project Engineer is mainly responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Project Manager. Duties include technical documentation, jobsite communications with the Foreman and subcontractors, scheduling, and cost analysis.
A successful candidate should possess an Engineering or Construction Management degree with applicable field experience and previous knowledge of DELDOT, MDSHA, PennDOTor other municipal projects is preferred but not required. A willingness to learn, strong computer skills, and good communication skills is essential.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review and process properly transmitted contract documents.
Review, organize, maintain, and process contract documents and shop drawings.
Assist in job startup submittals, ie. submit, log, and distribute RFI's and RFI responses.
Assist in the preparation of change orders.
Monitor costs and field quantities on a daily basis.
Update the project schedule as directed and prepare daily job reports.
Monitor field productions on a daily basis and assist project accountant in preparing production reports as directed.
Properly code and promptly forward a delivery tickets and paperwork to the office.
Setup and maintain job files.
Coordinate material requirements with project superintendents.
Receive material deliveries and maintain material staging plan and on-site inventory.
Monitor all long lead items on a regular basis and notify project superintendent and project manager of any problems.
Assist in the preparation of the project close-out.
Assist in developing a project punch list as well as assuring that all items on the list are complete in a timely manner.
Assist with Quality Control including preparatory meetings and final inspections
Record project conference meeting minutes and return to the project manager for review.
Shadow the project superintendent and/or project manager to gain field experience.
Perform other related duties as required.
