SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently seeking Concrete Workers including form carpenters, rebar placement, concrete placement, and track hoe operators. Our work includes deep foundations, complicated machine foundations, quarry foundations and heavy industrial structural renovations. There is very little need for long days of finishing concrete, we do not do flatwork. However, concrete finishing experience is preferred.
Employees will be based out of Kinsley's North East, MD office but travel in the mid-Atlantic region for projects will be required. Kinsley will provide hotels and transportation for this required work-related travel.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Use and/or assist with instruments for precise layout
Perform and/or supervise excavation and backfill
Non CDL truck driving may be required
Perform formwork, placement of anchor bolts and placement of embeds
Perform placement of rebar
Perform placement of concrete including large mass pours, foundations, formed piers, formed walls, supported slabs and small areas of slab on grade
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED is required; secondary education is appreciated and will be considered when determining pay scale
3-5 years of experience is required
Operators must be experienced with track hoes and rubber tire hoes; all sizes
Comprehension of construction drawings is required
Must be familiar with all means of placement and curing of concrete
Must be able to operate manual transmissions
Current driver's license is required
Must be familiar with or willing to learn OSHA and MSHA safety regulations

Summary/Objective
The purpose of this position is to safely and efficiently work as part of our paving operations team. The construction laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at highway and heavy construction projects. This individual will be responsible for placing, raking, and luting material as needed. This individual will also be expected to run the screw and grade system on an asphalt paver.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Knowledge of asphalt paving operations
Ability to hold grade and understand cross slopes
Prior to every use, evaluate the equipment and confirm that the equipment from a mechanical and safety standpoint is ready to use.
Follow safety procedures and participate in weekly toolbox meetings with asphalt crew.
Maintaining a clean and presentable work environment at all times.
Perform proper daily cleanout as per the company procedure.
Follow the dress code and compliance of proper PPE at all times.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently seeking concrete workers including form carpenters, rebar placement, concrete placement, and track hoe operators. Our work includes deep foundations, complicated machine foundations, quarry foundations and heavy industrial structural renovations. There is very little need for long days of finishing concrete, we do not do flatwork. However, concrete finishing experience is preferred.
Employees will be based out of Kinsley's Hagerstown, MD office but travel in the mid-Atlantic region for projects will be required. Kinsley will provide hotels and transportation for this required work-related travel. We pay the highest per diem rate in our market for meals and expenses.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Use and/or assist with instruments for precise layout
Perform and/or supervise excavation and backfill
Non CDL truck driving may be required
Perform formwork, placement of anchor bolts and placement of embeds
Perform placement of rebar

Daily Tasks:
Responsible for assisting construction workers to carry out a variety of tasks such as tidying up work areas, unloading materials, preparing worksites, cleaning debris, and executing other tasks as assigned.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm
Some Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent
All candidates must pass an initial background check and drug test. Valid license to drive, and a clean DMV record
Candidates must be physically capable of performing work, in good health, with the ability to lift up to 50-100lbs. unassisted
