Job Description
The Operations Coordinator partners directly with staff, students, and families of KIPP Nashville and is responsible for maintaining operational excellence at the school. The Operations Coordinator is a key member of the school's Operations Team. The Operations Coordinator manages 1 Office Manager and reports to the Director of Operations at their school site.
Responsibilities of the Operations Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
School-Wide Operational Systems, Events, & Communication
Lead family engagement initiatives including Parent Involvement Committee, family events, and family newsletters
Coordinate with operation team members, staff, and grade level chairs on the planning and logistics of grade-level and school-wide field trips
Coordinate and support at school-wide events, including some events outside of school hours.
Coordinate student uniform system, inventory, and purchasing
Coordinate student and staff supply inventory, purchasing, and distribution
Create a warm, welcoming environment for all students, family, staff, and visitors.
Utilize project planning templates (docs, excel, canva, other tools) to backwards plan school events based on a given vision
Facilitate seamless communication with families via social media, flyers, call-outs, etc.
Facilitate seamless communication with all school level stakeholders to support in execution of school events to include: communication with school staff, facilitating planning meetings, ongoing email and direct communication as needed
Engaging staff in proactive and reactive feedback on the execution of Family Engagement Events
Attendance Strategy and Management
Ensure attendance systems and procedures are effective and efficient
Ensure compliance with all attendance policies and procedures
Create and execute attendance plan to ensure student attendance goals are met
Plan and execute attendance team meetings and attendance review board meetings
Student Information & Data Management
Manage the accurate and timely delivery of quarterly report cards, weekly progress reports, and attendance letters.
Maintain the accuracy of our multiple student information systems (SIS) in a variety of areas such as enrollment, scheduling, grades, and transcripts.
Manage a variety of attendance initiatives including school-wide incentives, attendance plans, truancy, and parent meetings.
Technology and Assessment
Inventory, manage, and maintain all student, staff, and classroom technology to ensure students and staff have what they need
Help plan and coordinate all aspects of student testing including but not limited to Interim Assessments, MAP, and State Testing
Student Recruitment and Enrollment
Work alongside the Director of Operations on student recruitment
Manage application process and ensure smoothly enrollment for all new families
Collaborate with the Director of Operations, enrollment team, faculty, and staff in planning school-based open houses, enrollment information meetings, and other school-based recruitment events.
Partner with feeder schools to ensure smooth transition of newly enrolled families
Finance and Procurement
Receive purchase order requests and seek appropriate approval
Purchase supplies as approved & document purchase
Collect and track student fees, uniform purchases, and all other monies weekly
Code invoices and purchases
School Operations Support
Ensure the school building is well maintained, through building walkthroughs and handling of maintenance requests
Provide front office coverage as needed
Manage Office Manager to ensure effective and efficient office systems, routines, and databases.
Make and track all school purchases accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure proper coding and payment of all invoices and credit card purchases

Participate in staff professional development in July as well as ongoing staff meetings and development opportunities.
Partner across school teams in grade-level and school-wide activities, knowing that it takes a village to help a child succeed.

Qualifications
Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish (Required)
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Two or more years of work experience highly preferred
2+ years experience in K-12 school operations strongly preferred; prior experience as a teacher a plus
Experience working with under-resourced communities, families, and/or students
Demonstrated success in building relationships and trust with leaders, teachers, students, parents and community
Demonstrated success with design and execution of logistics
Proficiency in Arabic preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Google applications (Sheets, Docs, Google Drive), with the ability to quickly learn new technologies (Infinite Campus, Slack, video conferencing apps, etc.)

Compensation and Benefits
Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience, and includes benefits. This position is exempt, and will work and be compensated according to a 12 month administrative schedule.

The vacation package for salaried employees includes 29 paid days throughout the 12 month work schedule (including holidays, fall break, thanksgiving break, winter break). KIPP Nashville Transportation Department:
Work is performed under the continuing supervision of the Director of Transportation
This work requires operating a passenger bus or van on assigned routes or on a demand response system.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of a KIPP Nashville Bus Driver include, but are not limited to:
Performs routine walk-around inspection on bus before accepting passengers; reports any defects to dispatcher on duty and fills out a vehicle defect form.
Safely operates a passenger bus on an assigned route, adhering promptly to time schedule. Maintains order/discipline on bus at all times.
Prepares and records basic reports on discipline issues, trip deviation, mechanical malfunction of buses and equipment, accidents, and incidents.
The driver provides directions and information about the bus schedules.
Monitors bus entry for passenger safety. Update route as necessary for a safe and efficient ride.
Meet and greet visitors, staff and students with a smile.
Maintain discipline and safety on a bus of middle school and/or high school aged students
Expectations of KIPP Nashville bus drivers and support staff:
Arrive at school by 5:30 a.m.
Drive the morning route Monday-Friday.
Drive the afternoon route Mondays-Friday
Drive local field trips periodically throughout the school year
Participate in school-wide and individual professional development, including three weeks during the summer.
Make him/herself available to students, parents, and other staff members after school hours and on weekends by his/her personal cell phone or home phone.
Qualifications

Graduation from high school (GED acceptable) and experience in bus or similar vehicle operation; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Demonstrated, substantive experience in the operation of large buses.
Has knowledge of bus operation and bus equipment.
Has considerable knowledge of motor vehicle laws, ordinances and safe driving practices, and streets and locations within the City of Nashville.
Has knowledge of safety standards and precautions pertaining to proper bus operation.

Work closely with Principal to establish a positive, structured, and achievement-oriented school culture
Facilitate teacher training and support around discipline, relationships, expectations, consistency, and management
Coordinate and implement a school-wide discipline system with meaningful incentives and consequences
Serve as the point person for discipline/culture issues as well as specific behavioral intervention plans
Assist teachers, students, and parents in the creation and implementation of support plans for individual students
Monitor behavioral pull-out, in-school suspensions, out of-school suspensions, and suspension parent re-entry meetings
Maintain accurate student discipline records; document all conferences, suspensions, and phone calls for behavior
Plan, lead and oversee an effective Tier I, Tier II and Tier III behavioral culture and RTI-B process
Stakeholder Engagement and Management
Lead recognition assemblies, parent workshops, community events, and other culture-building activities
Support teachers in building relationships with students and parents; implement parental involvement plan
Communicate clearly and promptly with teachers, families, and students when discipline issues occur
Ensure that the physical environment of the school reinforces school culture and facilitates student achievement

Position Overview:
The Office Manager partners directly with staff, students, and families of KIPP Nashville and is responsible for maintaining operational excellence at the school's main office. The Office Manager is a key member of the school's Operations Team. The Office manager reports to the Operations Coordinator at their school site.
Responsibilities of the Office Manager include, but are not limited to:
Receptionist Duties
Warmly greet all visitors to the school and direct them to the appropriate place or person
Manage school office, answer phones, and manage mail and fax
Receive and distribute messages for students and staff
Respond to parent questions and concerns, and direct them to the Principal when appropriate
Maintain the professional appearance of the front office
Track all visitors and tours
Office Administration
Manage day to day of attendance procedures ensuring accuracy
Organize and maintain supply, storage closets, and common work areas
Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies
Administer first aid and medications to students according to school standards
Distribute all deliveries to the appropriate person
Support the management of the school store, student uniforms, and the lost and found
Regularly update student phone lists and contact information
Sort/deliver mail, opening when appropriate
Coordinate service of copiers and printers as needed
Student Information Management System
Collect all student records, including immunization records, home language surveys, emergency contact forms, and media release form
Complete daily attendance, and enrollment, withdrawal, and contact data
Help develop and manage student progress reports and report cards
Manage collection, dispersal, security, and organization of all student cumulative record files
Assure confidentiality of files is maintained and lock files where appropriate
Student Recruitment and Enrollment
Engage in the student enrollment process, assist with student recruitment, and maintain all lottery records.
Ensure all students are enrolled in SIS system
Assist with the distribution of flyers, invitations, and other parent communication as it relates to the student recruitment process.
School Operations Support
Help plan logistics and preparations for school events, including, but not limited to, field trips.
Carry out any additional daily school duties as decided upon by the Principal or Director of Operations

Student Culture
Work closely with the Principal to establish a loving, structured, and achievement-oriented school culture

KIPP Nashville is committed to offering competitive compensation, providing salaries that are 5% more competitive for individuals with both bachelor's and master's degrees. Starting salary for first year teachers begins at $55,070 for those with a conferred advanced degree begins at $60,695. Salary is commensurate with experience. Staff members typically receive a 2% yearly raise. To establish consistent salary practices, the compensation package is derived from the regional KIPP Nashville Public Schools pay scale. This position is exempt and will follow a 10-month work schedule.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the timely, complete, and accurate preparation of assigned journal entries, monthly accounting tasks and various data compilations under the direct supervision of the Controller. Job Description
The PLC Coach works collaboratively, as part of the consultancy team within his/her assigned school(s), by working with the school leadership team to identify school improvement priorities, observing and providing feedback on classroom instruction, facilitating professional development, demonstrating lessons, and coaching teachers one-on-one and in small group settings. The job of the coach is to build the capacity of the school and its teachers to provide high quality instruction and ensure all students achieve rigorous standards of career and college readiness. Assists teacher teams in implementing a guaranteed and viable curriculum by prioritizing, unwrapping standards, creating common standards and pacing documents.
Collects, organizes and completes information necessary for reports and evaluations.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related area plus an additional 5 years classroom teaching experience required
Current teachers must have proof of a level 3, 4, or 5 evaluation. Master's degree preferred.
Active Tennessee teaching license required with an endorsement appropriate to grade level. Active Administrator Licensure preferred.

Staff members receive a 2% yearly raise. To establish equitable salary practices, the compensation package is derived from the regional KIPP Nashville Public Schools pay scale. The Assistant Principal of Student Support Services will be responsible for managing and coaching support services teachers and interventionists, managing related services, leading the Response to Intervention (RTI) program, providing professional development and resources to all staff in the areas of Special Education, intervention, and teaching English Language Learners. Manage and coach Special Education Teachers to ensure all IEP goals are met and that we close the achievement gap between students with disabilities and general education students.
Ensure compliance with all special education and ELL laws and regulations, including managing IEP caseloads as needed.
Oversee a comprehensive Response to Intervention program (management of the program can be done by an interventionist, but oversight is provided by the Dean of Student Support Services)

Manage all related service providers, including OT, PT, Speech/Language, psychologists, the nurse, and contracted ABA support
