Viome Life Sciences is a wellness as a service company that applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to biological data - e.g., microbiome (bacteria, fungi, and other microbes), and transcriptome (sum of RNA molecules) data - to provide personalized recommendations for healthy living. We are a small, fast-growing, interdisciplinary team of passionate experts in software engineering, biochemistry, microbiology, medicine, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

We are seeking a Kit Assembler Associate to join our Clinical Studies team. In this role the associate will create kits in our Lab and send them to study participants. Once the samples arrive, they will accession and store them. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, and enjoys working with technology and projects that improve our service and efficiency.

This is a full-time position located at Viome's office in Bothell, WA. (NOTE: This is not a remote position).

Responsibilities:Assemble sample collection kits Ship kits globally Receive clinical samples (blood, stool, saliva, etc.) Accession the samples and place them in storage Work with the Viome product team Work with many external collaborators Strictly follow standard operating procedures

3rd Shift Kit Assemblers needed in West Indianapolis, IN

Schedule:

• 3rd Shift: 6pm - 6am (2-2-3 Rotating Shift)
• 3rd Shift: 9pm - 6am (Monday - Thursday)
• 3rd Shift: 6pm - 6am (Friday - Sunday)

Job Duties:

• Follow computer instructions for each kit
• Maintain a safe environment
• Put designated items into each kit
• Pack the finished kit
• Perform other related duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand on feet for 10-12 hour shift. However, some areas allow sitting.
• Experience working in a fast paced & high production environment
• Must be able to lift 25lbs (NOT regularly) - They team lift for anything above 50lbs
• Reliable Transportation
• Willing to submit to a drug test and background check.

• Ability to work onsite 7:00 am- 3:30 pm or 3:30 pm -1 am Monday thru Friday, hours may vary with schedule
• Responsible to work as a team member in Life Science and throughout all of Martin Street.
• Responsible for daily on time attendance per The Allied Group guidelines published in the employee handbook.
• Responsible to follow all work procedures and instructions per training and instruction by Department Supervisor.
• Responsible to conduct all quality checks and adhere to the Allied Group Quality System.
• Responsible to safely perform staging, assembly, hand insertion, operate collation and other equipment and other Fulfillment projects per training and assignment by Department Supervisor
• Responsible to help maintain the physical condition of Life Science assembly areas and storage areas at Martin Street.
• Responsible to identify and notify the Department Supervisor, or any manager, of any safety related issues or concerns in their department and throughout Martin Street.
• Work to maximize efficiency and productivity in all projects in Life Science operations in the facility.
• Responsible to work O/T only when authorized by Department Supervisor.
• Project a positive attitude and promote teamwork.
• Responsible to attend and participate in any and all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual meetings per invitation and instruction.
• Utilize our Quality Management System to promote an understanding of our customer needs and expectations
• Help promote a culture where we exceed customer expectations
• Responsible to comply with the Allied Group Quality Policy & Quality Management System
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Read and write English, basic math skills
• PC Proficient
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
