QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated ability to accomplish the major duties and responsibilities listed below. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures. A person, who under the supervision of the Child Nutrition Director, performs the various tasks necessary to prepare, serve and clean up after the school food service meals. High school diploma/G.E.D.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to delegate responsibilities, instruct other, and manage time.
Computer skills, Inventory, time sheets, production records, programs (Nutrikids, Infinite Campus & POS) and etc.
Follow standardized recipe
Assists in preparation and serving food in a quick and pleasant manner.
Produces quality food products and follows standardized recipes closely
Operates a variety of equipment, including grinder, mixer, oven, range, dishwasher, steam kettle, slicer, etc.
Managing a crew of employee's....Team players are essential in all successful operations.
Assist in general daily clean up of the kitchen and service areas.
Assists in major cleaning or refrigerators and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as requested.
Attends relevant training classes and workshops in order to maintain food service knowledge
Assists with the proper storage and disposal of unused foods.
Deals with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive encouraging manner.
Knows and follows school policy and chain of command.
Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.
Performs such school-related duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
All non-certificated staff not under contract are under “at will employment”. Their positions shall be considered in all respects “employment at will” and the employee is subject to discharge by the district at any time without cause. The “employment period” and other descriptions and terms set forth in their job descriptions shall not create a property right in the employee and such are set forth only to advise the employee of when and what type of services will be required by the district so long as employment continues.
The employment period shall be for nine (9) months with vacations as specified by district rules and regulations. The salary shall be determined by the Superintendent and approved by the Board of Trustees.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience - Internal Promote: Minimum of 1+ years experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years experience as a First Assistant Manager; must be 100% certified in all workstations.
External Recruit: Minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must be at least 18 years old; must complete Restaurant Manager training classes; must be ServSafe certified. Requires ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to perform and understand basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); proven analytical skills; and good organization and planning skills. Is a self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility. Proficient knowledge of personal computers and related software applications. Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and use personal vehicle to make bank deposits and travel to other restaurants/business locations as required. Physical Requirements - Ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift; ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs; ability to move freely throughout the restaurant; ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle. Ability to operate a computer keyboard.
