Texas Roadhouse is looking for a legendary KitchenManager to oversee all Back of House operations and be responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner, according to established recipes, and procedures. About Your Compensation
Compensation starts at $22.00/Hour and, with demonstrated experience and qualifications, candidates may earn up to $26.00/Hour.
About Your Work Day
Quickly service guests at fast-paced events bars.
Track all orders through POS System and report daily sales.
Track complimentary, unwanted, or lost beverages.
Know and understand NYS Liquor Laws.
Oversee front-of-house staff and monitor restaurant operations.
Interact with guests and ensure guest satisfaction is above and beyond.
Maintain standards of fine dining establishment in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Work alongside kitchen staff to ensure quality control of the product.
Assist management in overall cost-effectiveness within budget and oversee front-of-house staff and monitor restaurant operations.
Interact with guests and ensure guest satisfaction is above and beyond.
Conduct training for seasonal staff.
Responsible for directing employees to keep a clean space and atmosphere.
All other duties as assigned.

Chautauqua Institution's Referral Bonus Program is a talent solution to recruit, develop, and retain a diverse workforce that encompasses all the skills and experience necessary to deliver on our goals and objectives. Chautauqua Institution will provide a $500 referral bonus (less taxes) for active employees referring a new candidate who is hired and remains employed for at least 90-days from the first physical date of work. In the case of seasonal positions working less than 6-months, the new candidate must remain actively employed for at least 30-days from the first physical date of work and until the closing date of the season. The closing date of the season is the last Sunday in August.â¯
About Your Scheduleâ¯
Chautauqua Institution and Chautauqua Hotel Company offer flexible schedules, full and part-time, for seasonal employment during summer operations starting annually each June and concluding in August.⯠Seasonal employment may be available earlier (pre-season) and beyond season (post-season) based on business needs and candidate availability.⯠Schedules typically include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as a requirement.â¯â¯â¯

THE OPPORTUNITY
As Kitchen Leader, you will learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You are responsible for making sure our food is absolutely delicious. You'll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.
The Kitchen Leader helps ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle's delicious food every day. They see to it that the kitchen is clean, organized and well stocked; and that the equipment is properly maintained and in good condition. Throughout the process they are serving as a role model for Crew members, helping them learn to become future Kitchen Leaders. At its core, as with every position at Chipotle, it is about promoting teamwork and creating a great customer experience. While on the clock, the Kitchen Leaders are always busy on their feet, accomplishing their station's goals, taking on tasks that they see that need to get done, and pitching-in to help their teammates.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* In addition to following Chipotle's policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Ensuring food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures
* Monitoring food waste and inventory levels, and resolving food quality issues
* Supporting a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
* Developing Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
* Communicating with Crew members and customers effectively in order to ensure great customer service and throughput
* Ensuring the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
* Monitoring kitchen equipment and ensuring it is kept in good repair; making sure malfunctioning equipment is repaired as quickly as possible
* Ensuring that the kitchen itself and all Crew members meet the necessary guidelines to ensure there are no injuries or accidents
* Filling out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)

The Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a big job! The Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant's goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.
