Timothy M. Archer is our president and chief executive officer. Mr. Archer joined us in June 2012 as our executive vice president, chief operating officer. Prior to joining us, he spent 18 years at Novellus Systems, Inc. in various technology development and business leadership roles, including most recently as chief operating officer from January 2011 to June 2012; executive vice president of Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction from September 2009 to January 2011; and executive vice president of the PECVD and Electrofill Business Units from November 2008 to September 2009. Mr. Archer completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Business and earned a B.S. degree in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology.

Luc Seraphin

Luc Seraphin is president and chief executive officer and has served as a member of our Board of Directors since October 2018. Prior to this role, Luc was the senior vice president and general manager of the Memory and Interface Division, leading the development of the company’s innovative memory architectures and high-speed serial link solutions. Luc also served as the senior vice president of Worldwide Sales and Operations where he oversaw sales, business development, customer support and operations across the various business units within Rambus. Luc started his career as a field application engineer at NEC and later joined AT&T Bell Labs, which became Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems (now Avago Technologies). During his 18 years at Avago, Luc held several senior positions in sales, marketing and general management, culminating in his last position as executive vice president and general manager of the Wireless Business Unit. Following this, Luc held the position of general manager of a GPS startup company in Switzerland and was vice president of Worldwide Sales and Support at Sequans Communications. During his career, Luc has advised and supported companies in both the product and IP markets. Luc holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Superieure de Chimie, Physique, Electronique, based in Lyon, France where he majored in Computer Architecture. Luc also holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and has completed the senior executive program of Columbia University.

Liam K. Griffin, 53, is president and chief executive officer and a director of Skyworks Solutions, Inc. Prior to his appointment as CEO and to the board of directors in May 2016, he had served as president since May 2014. He served as executive vice president and corporate general manager from November 2012 to May 2014, where he was responsible for all of Skyworks' business units. Since joining Skyworks in 2001, Mr. Griffin has also held the positions of executive vice president and general manager of high performance analog and senior vice president of sales and marketing. Before joining Skyworks, he was the vice president of worldwide sales at Vectron International, a division of Dover Corporation, and held product management and process engineering positions at AT&T's Microelectronics and Network Systems' businesses. In addition, Mr. Griffin previously served on the board of Vicor Corp. and currently serves on the board of National Instruments (Nasdaq: NATI), a provider of software-defined platforms for automated test and measurement systems.

Aart J. de Geus is a co-founder of Synopsys, Inc., a provider of electronic design automation software and related services for semiconductor design companies, and currently serves as its Chairman of the Board of Directors and Co-Chief Executive Officer. Since 1986, Dr. de Geus has held various positions at Synopsys, including President, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Senior Vice President of Marketing, and has served as a member of its board of directors. He is also on the Board of Directors. Prior to these roles, he was the worldwide marketing manager of Teradyne's semiconductor test products from 2001 to 2003. Mark joined Teradyne in 1982 as a design engineer, developing image sensor test systems. From 1989 to 1999 he served as general manager of Teradyne's Japan Division. He returned to the U.S. in 1999 as the engineering manager for the company's VLSI Test Division in Agoura Hills, California. Mark holds a BSEE from the University of Michigan. Mr. Jagiela has been a director of Teradyne, Inc. since 2014.
