We are currently seeking an Aluminum Extrusion Die Technician. The position is primarily responsible for examining dies and press tooling to recommend design modifications by performing the following duties:

What You Will Be Responsible For:
Repair and preventative maintenance of production tooling
Operate equipment such mills, cranes, die oven use and nitriding system safely
Ability to wear proper PPE for tasks associated with operations

Rework and repair all die tooling as necessary with the guidance of Group Leader/Supervisor.
Review die inspection reports for proper corrective action

STARTING PAY: $19.74 per hour with the ability to earn more.
The Material Handler performs duties under the general direction of the Shift Facilitator with directions from the Team Captain.
No prior experience is required. Will train the right individuals.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Set up material for Packing operators.
Unload Age Ovens
Set up racks on wheels for packing stations.
Return all empty racks to the extrusion department on return line.
Keep accurate records.
Record all information on required paperwork.
Post material pulled in computer.
Dump scrap and trash in the Packing area.
Pack and ship material for outside processing
Follow up on material for outside processing.
Pack and ship finished material.
Load and unload trucks when required.
Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor.
Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems.
Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation.

As an Extrusion Operator, you may be required to perform various tasks, including loading and starting Age Ovens, monitoring and removing press scrap, staging racks, loading metal and spacers, and ensuring the saw crew has all necessary supplies. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing the Stretching Operation, which involves inputting stretcher parameters for each order, initiating Auto-stretch, and visually monitoring parts for over-stretch or under-stretch conditions. It is important to keep your work areas clean and safe.
To qualify for this role, you must be able to read and understand a tape measure, operate the overhead crane, drive Combi/Forklift, lift to 50 pounds, and read and understand shop orders.
