Position Overview:
The Director of Quality is a key member of the leadership team responsible for setting and executing the quality vision and strategy across the organization. This individual will lead all aspects of quality assurance, control, and compliance while fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement. The Director will oversee quality systems, regulatory compliance, product and process quality, and customer satisfaction initiatives across multiple departments and facilities.
This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in aerospace quality standards, demonstrated leadership in quality management systems (QMS), and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Quality Strategy & Leadership
Define and lead the organizational quality vision, strategy, and objectives aligned with company goals.
Lead the development and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across the enterprise.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality performance, driving accountability at all levels.
Regulatory Compliance & Audit Readiness
Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory, industry (AS9100, ISO, etc.), and customer-specific quality standards.
Lead internal and external audits, including customer and third-party audits. Drive timely resolution of non-conformances.
Maintain all certifications and ensure site audit readiness at all times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure product quality from design through delivery.
Lead cross-functional root cause and corrective action initiatives (RCCA) to eliminate systemic quality issues.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop a high-performing quality team, including managers, engineers, and inspectors.
Set clear expectations, mentor future leaders, and oversee training and certification programs.
Ensure succession planning and professional development across the quality organization.
Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management
Act as the voice of the customer within the organization with regard to quality concerns and product performance.
Build strong relationships with key customers and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and quality issues.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
Identify, assess, and mitigate quality and compliance risks throughout the production and supply chain lifecycle.
Champion a data-driven approach to problem-solving using tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.
Continuous Improvement
Drive a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
Ensure implementation of at least one high-impact improvement project per quarter per quality team leader/manager.
Promote cross-functional kaizen events and lead enterprise-level improvement initiatives.

Zero major audit findings; timely closure of all corrective actions.
Sustained improvements in first-pass yield, scrap, and rework metrics.
Active resolution of customer complaints and warranty issues.

Delivery of measurable cost savings and efficiency gains from quality initiatives.
Timely and effective communication of quality performance to executive leadership.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace quality, with 5+ years in a senior quality leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP and other aerospace quality standards.
Proven track record of leading successful audits and quality transformations.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent preferred.
Proficient in quality systems, metrics reporting, and ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Demonstrated ability to build trust and effectively partner with leadership.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
SHRM-CP or equivalent certification a plus.

Job Objective:
Performs a variety of mechanical duties to adjust, trouble shoot, repair, maintain, install, and rebuild special purpose industrial machinery and support equipment. Assures the reliability of all production equipment in support of operational business goals.
Responsibilities:
Performs necessary repairs and adjustments to systems and components to ensure the proper operation of production machinery and equipment.
Analyzes, diagnoses, and trouble shoots problems, determines the root cause, and makes repairs. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
Operates drill presses, lathes, milling machines, sheet metal breaks, shears, and other equipment used in fabrication or modification of machine parts and guarding.
Experience with CNC troubleshooting, mild programming, and schematic navigation. This applies to, but not limited to Mazak, HAAS, Robert E Morse, amongst others.
Works from mechanical drawings and schematics in accordance with standard practices, reads and interprets hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and drawings.
Analyzes and trouble shoots programmable logic controllers, input and output devices using ladder logic interpretation. Works with Engineering to determine root cause and corrective actions.
Trains and mentors less experienced maintenance staff
Follows all safety rules, practices, and established company guidelines.

Mechanical experience on various systems, such as pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls systems.

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, and provides technical support to help achieve the goals of the business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide manufacturing processes via CNC programs and/or detailed setup information
Optimize processes for throughput, cost, process control, scrap percentage, and ease of setup
Collaborate with toolmakers to create custom work holding and cutting tool solutions
Collaborate with Process Engineers on manufacturing methods and in-process requirements
Maintain process documentation to internal and industry standards

Perform machine setups for particularly difficult or unproven processes

This role is responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies to support production schedules. The Purchasing Manager will oversee the purchasing team and play a critical role in supplier performance, cost control, lead time reduction, and purchase order execution.
This position will report to the VP of Supply Chain and work closely with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Supplier Quality to ensure supplier alignment and material readiness.
Requirements:Procurement Management
Lead and develop the purchasing team responsible for raw materials, components, and execution of established long-term agreements (LTAs).
Establish and manage strategic agreements with outside process vendors (OVs); collaborate closely with the OV team to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Partner with the VP of Supply Chain to expand LTAs and strategic sourcing opportunities.
Support supplier segmentation and sourcing strategies to reduce risk, improve responsiveness, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
Ensure timely and accurate placement of purchase orders in alignment with MRP and planning requirements.
Monitor daily procurement reports and manage order adjustments proactively to meet demand changes.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; serve as the point of contact for issue escalation.

Maintains area, equipment and tools in neat, orderly condition. Performs basic machine maintenance such as removing chips, adding coolant, etc.

Assists in training other operators.

About the Role

Qualifications

G.S. Precision (GSP), a global leader in high-precision aerospace and defense components, is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead our purchasing function across all facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO supplies to support production schedules. The Purchasing Manager will oversee the purchasing team and play a critical role in supplier performance, cost control, lead time reduction, and purchase order execution.
This position will report to the VP of Supply Chain and work closely with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Supplier Quality to ensure supplier alignment and material readiness.
Requirements Procurement Management
Lead and develop the purchasing team responsible for raw materials, components, and execution of established long-term agreements (LTAs).
Establish and manage strategic agreements with outside process vendors (OVs); collaborate closely with the OV team to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Partner with the VP of Supply Chain to expand LTAs and strategic sourcing opportunities.
Support supplier segmentation and sourcing strategies to reduce risk, improve responsiveness, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
Ensure timely and accurate placement of purchase orders in alignment with MRP and planning requirements.
Monitor daily procurement reports and manage order adjustments proactively to meet demand changes.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; serve as the point of contact for issue escalation.
