About the Role:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in coordinating warehouse operations, leading a team of employees, and ensuring the safe and efficient shipping and receiving of inventory. You'll work closely with Purchasing, Sales, and Transportation teams to optimize space, meet customer demands, and maintain a high standard of safety and organization. Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Direct and supervise warehouse employees to meet customer demands, while coaching for performance improvement and recommending disciplinary actions when necessary.

* Union Collaboration: Work effectively and professionally with union leadership, ensuring alignment with the terms of the CBA.
Qualifications
Education:
* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in inventory management.
* At least 2 years of experience leading, coaching, and supervising a team.
* Experience in union environments is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong understanding of HSE and safety standards, warehouse procedures, and 6S principles.
* Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and forklift operation/safety.

Responsibilities
* Use safe work practices and counsel other employees to do the same, as necessary.

Johns Manville's Insulation Systems facility located in Richmond, IN is hiring a General Operator who enjoys being part of a team environment. The General Operator works under the general supervision of the shift supervisor, overseeing the operation of the bagger machine to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Richmond, IN plant produces high volumes of quality blown wool insulation for contractors and retail customers.
Role is working 8-hour shifts, 7 on 2 off/7 on 2 off/7 on 3-day weekend off with starting pay of $20.73/hr. + $.50-.75/hr. shift differential for any hours worked between 3 pm and 7am.

Your Day to Day:

POSITION INFO:

Johns Manville's Insulation Systems facility located in Richmond, IN is hiring a General Operator who enjoys being part of a team environment. The General Operator works under the general supervision of the shift supervisor, overseeing the operation of the bagger machine to maximize productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards. The Richmond, IN plant produces high volumes of quality blown wool insulation for contractors and retail customers.
Role is working 8-hour shifts, 7 on 2 off/7 on 2 off/7 on 3-day weekend off with starting pay of $20.73/hr. + $.50-.75/hr. shift differential for any hours worked between 3 pm and 7am.

Summary of Position:

Responsibilities
Lead and Oversee Large-Scale Capital Projects: Take ownership of major capital initiatives, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion.
Design and Program Advanced Systems: Perform programming for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), Drives, and Servo systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
Drive New Plant Projects and Equipment Upgrades: Manage the design, specification, and execution of new plant projects, as well as the upgrade and redesign of existing equipment, ensuring seamless integration and improved functionality.
Develop and Execute Comprehensive Project Plans: Create detailed scopes of work, request and evaluate quotes, issue purchase orders, and coordinate internal and external project teams while maintaining strict adherence to budgets and timelines.
Manage Contractor Relationships: Oversee external contractors performing new installations and electrical upgrades, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate and Implement OEM Equipment: Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate new equipment into plant operations effectively.

Job Title: Mobile Mechanic Role & Responsibilities: 1. Ensure operation of mobile equipment by completing repair and preventive maintenance activities on forklifts (propane/diesel) ranging from 4,000 lb capacity to 50,000 lb capacity, front-end loaders (Volvo L180H or equivalent), excavators (Liebherr LH60C LITRONIC or equivalent), skid steers, plant sweepers (Tennant M20 or equivalent), and various plant utility vehicles. Utilize diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions/directions, in order to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
2. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical/electrical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring/testing instruments.
3. Remove/install parts through the safe use of hoists, cranes, and hand /power tools.
4. Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
5. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand/power tools.
6. Conform to the plant's maintenance reliability program (EAM), as well as other required maintenance activities.
7. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with plant rules/procedures and completing safety inspections to meet both OSHA regulations and USG safety standards.
8. Maintain good working relationships through the use of constructive communication skills and dignity/respect.
9. Mechanical and technical skills including, but not limited to equipment lubrication, troubleshooting electrical/fuel/ignition/hydraulic/cooling systems, and computer skills.
10. Assist operational department mechanical maintenance teams during maintenance downtime.

Required Skills:
1. Must have mobile equipment maintenance experience including but not limited to.
* All facets or forklift repair and preventative maintenance for forklifts ranging from 4,000 lb to 50,000 lb capacity. Repair experience to include motor rebuild, cooling systems, steering column replacement, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, ignition systems, fly wheel replacement, brake systems, drive train maintenance, and carriage/mast attachment maintenance/repair.
* All facets of front-end loader and excavator repair and preventative maintenance.
* All facets of sweeper and utility vehicle repair and preventative maintenance.
2. Must have the ability to work safely and put housekeeping as a top priority.
3. Must be able to demonstrate an understanding/compliance with all plant and departmental safety rules, standards, and model programs.
4. Must be able to supervise the safety of third-party vendors and contractors.
5. Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements necessary for the position.
6. Must be able to work in adverse conditions, including but not limited to extreme temperatures, negotiating uneven terrain, ramps, steps and ladders.
7. Must have ability to understand verbal and written instructions from plant supervision and efficiently and effectively perform assigned tasks.
8. Ability to work with others (in-plant, as well as, vendors/contractors) in a team environment and encourage collaboration and problem solving. Must have ability to treat all people with dignity and respect at all times.
9. Must be a self-starter and complete tasks with little guidance or supervision.
10. Must effectively communicate with all levels and departments to maintain and improve relationships throughout a multi-industry plant.
11. Must demonstrate good safety and attendance.

16. Normal work schedule is 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday, but must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and any shift as assigned to meet the needs of the Plant. Must be willing to respond to call-outs and be willing to provide updated phone numbers for contact after-hours.
17. Local candidates are preferred for this position. There will be no relocation assistance.

1. Prior experience with Hyster Tracking System.
