Description
As a Knowledge Engineer you will:
Collaborate with Support Engineers and key stakeholders to assess knowledge gaps and plan, develop and deliver appropriate knowledge documents and training accordingly. Routinely assess knowledge management systems and practices to support the work and development of the department into the future. Establish proper measurement mechanisms to evaluate knowledge learning impact against objectives. Build, organize and arrange knowledge sharing sessions & training Identify knowledge gaps and gather information from relevant stakeholders to create appropriate and accurate content. Present complex processes/information in a clear and simple way. Knowledge base editor/contributor. Create and edit content. Knowledge preservation and retention.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in technical knowledge management - must Technical background - must Excellent communicator who can initiate and continue interactions with the people who share their insights and knowledge Experience in knowledge management methods, Knowledge Base systems and tools. Excellent ability to explain complex content in an easy-to-follow way. (frontal / eLearning) Experience with eLearning Platforms (LMS) - define & build Experience in Knowledge evaluation methods & Tools Excellent English (Verbal & Written skills)

As an experienced data product management professional, you are very familiar with product management best practices across the lifecycle and can transform how a firm delivers superior customer experiences through their product and service offerings. You are very comfortable with influencing key stakeholders in analytics, business and technology to deliver leading edge innovation with the customer and the business impact in mind. We are looking for a candidate with experience building data ontologies to join our CCB Data Delivery team to drive adoption of common vocabularies and structured data within the Firm. You will have the opportunity to partner with our Data Publishers making their data scalable and machine-readable for our data consumers and data scientists when building NLP/ML/AI solutions. With CCB's comprehensive data, we are setting out to build knowledge graphs to facilitate better insights discovery, search, and knowledge management and governance.

The Role:

In this exciting role we expect you to work in applying structured data methods and technologies, generate ontologies and vocabularies that describe our data. The meta-data and data should be discoverable via human and machine search using APIs to support data-driven decision tools and processes such as MIS, advanced analytics, including graph databases.

You will partner with product managers and technology to output data for our business users (both non-technical and technical). You will be a key person in shaping the product offering and the customer experience.

Responsibilities:


Partner with CCB's Data Publishers and Product Owners in cross-disciplinary teams to improve how they publish their information; Guide the building of logical/physical data models; Help discover, profile, acquire, process, model and own data for the solutions Advocate the adoption of open-sourced data processing pipelines & algorithms to help clients manage and anticipate data needs from varied structured and unstructured data sources, including traditional relational stores, other NoSQL databases, and social media, news, internal/external documents, emails, etc. Actively be involved in researching and experimenting with leading/emerging data governance and processing methodologies and technologies to facilitate advanced analytics use cases. Develop metrics and procedures for assessing, managing and characterizing meta-data and dataset consumption Contribute to data architecture and data management strategy design Participate in collaborating with the firm's Chief Data Offices and Technology Functions to develop standards and best practices Participate in relevant industry and governance groups Influence key stakeholders to define tasks and guidelines for workflows and manage decisions throughout the lifecycle. Builds product backlog, prioritize its items to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and continuously keep it up to date. Ensures product features and processes align with applicable Discover compliance and risk management standards.


Minimum qualifications:


Demonstrable outcomes using Google Search Structured Data, Metadata capture, Web Ontology Language (OWL), Knowledge Representation, W3C, Resource Description Framework (RDF), JSON-LD Experience using Java, Python, SPARQL and/or SQL Experience migrating and establishing data foundations on cloud-based platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Education in and/or experience with language pragmatics, linguistic data collection methodologies, and/or natural language understanding Bachelor's degree in information science, computer science, library science, computational linguistics, mathematics, philosophy or related discipline

MYMIC is seeking a Knowledge Engineer/ SharePoint Developer with JavaScript and other web technology experience to support SharePoint Development. Developers will work as part of a team to provide enterprise solutions including portals, web-parts, Apps and SharePoint solutions. The Knowledge Engineering team enables synergy by integrating requirements, initiatives, and developments to leverage knowledge and information to facilitate the decision-making process.

Job Duties:

* Develop smart, consolidated, and aligned IT solutions and to provide problem resolution and mission-oriented customer technical interface.
* Develop SharePoint and Knowledge Management tools based in support of user requirements.
* Review and provide recommendations to Baseline Requirements Documents.
* Develop workflows to streamline business processes.
* Support in the development of a Knowledge Management (KM) strategy to centralize data, standardize data elements, share database information, utilize common IT systems, and expose IT data/services for maximum information sharing.
* Create, maintain, archive and present metrics in support of Knowledge Management transformation and process improvement efforts
* Provide support to transition to newer KM/collaborative tool platforms and, if required, supports transition/moving data to Enterprise hosted sites.
* Keep the customer abreast of status, resolve issues as needed and facilitate solutions using enterprise IT capabilities and ensure services are aligned with the enterprise architecture, interoperable services and network centric enterprise services.
* Provide recommendations and input in the development and/or update of KM Directives
* Assist users design and build websites; add and configure web parts; manage permissions for site users, controlling access to sites, lists, libraries and other SharePoint components.
* Oversee and manage site owners, including their permissions.

Basic skills required:

* Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
* Must be able to work independently as well as work well with a team
* Must be able to gather requirements and have effective communication skills
* Project management skills from PMI helpful but not required

Education and Experience:

* Senior Knowledge Engineers require a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college AND Five (5) years of task related experience
* Experience with SharePoint Designer
* Experience with scripting; CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and C#
* Experience designing and creating custom forms using InfoPath
* Experience creating custom site and list templates, custom level permissions, and content types. Modifing term store.
* Experience creating or editing workflows
* Experience creating and modifying user groups as well as assigning, modifying, and troubleshooting permissions
* Knowledge to create views, filter data, group metadata and sort data in libraries and lists
* Knowledge of using calculated columns
* Manage site collection and site features
